Great fun song to sing. In the original key of F, so will fit with a backing track. A basic piano part is included with chords. Â This would suit an experienced choir but I have included some unison passages to make it more quickly accessible. Although it is SATB It will work just with Soprano and Alto voices (I wouldn't recommend it for a children's choir as the Alto part goes down to an F). Â There is a second Soprano option on a few notes in the chorus, for those who don't like to suddenly sing a top F. The Tenor part could be managed by lower female voices. The Betrayal is written for choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). It is a religious piece based on the passion of Christ. It has aspects of imitation, with a lot of independence in the parts. The vocal parts represent the voice of Jesus, the voices of those who crucified him, a narrator, and also briefly the voice of Peter, Jesus' disciple. The bass primarily sings the role of the people who called for his death, but as the piece continues others join in this role. I wrote some of the lyrics and also pulled some verses in from the Bible. I think this would be a great piece for Holy Week, perhaps on Good Friday or Maundy Thursday. the piece captures some of the intense emotions involved in the crucifixion and would make a great addition to Lenten music in the church. Lyrics:Why did you leave me?Why did you run?I absolved you of your sin. Jesus Christ must die for what he's done. We're Forgiven (God of Grace) was originally scored in a Piano/Guitar/Voice format, but for this Advent/Christmas season, Servant Song Music & Ministry has produced this full SATB Choral arrangement, as well! This particular arrangement is suitable for Beginner and Early Intermediate Church Choirs and Worship Teams, including very small ensembles. If you don't have any men in your choir, you can turn the score into a Soprano/Alto 2-part version pretty easily, too. This short, accessible piece of worship music was written as a liturgical response for use during Christian services during the Advent/Christmas/Epiphany seasons of the church calendar. It returns the work of the people TO the people, placing the Words of Assurance into the mouths and hearts of the congregation and/or choir, rather than having the minister alone speaking the words of absolution/assurance after the Prayer of Confession. Set in a simple key for beginning accompanists and including chord charts for guitarists (or pianists who prefer to play by reading the melody notes in the RH and playing by chord symbol with their LH), this song has been set in a perfect vocal range for congregational voices and/or church choirs. Non-liturgical churches have also appreciated this piece as a way for congregants to respond musically to services on themes such as God's Grace, Forgiveness, Reconciliation, Prodigals, Mercy, and also throughout Advent or whenever the pastor is focusing on themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, etc. Please don't make illegal copies of this score; it is the primary way I recover the costs of arranging, engraving and publishing new music. Asegurate que cada nota es cantada correctamente para asi el ensamble es mas facil de juntar. - Las armonias son clave para que esta pieza pueda crear el objetivo de sensibilizacion para ambos coro y publico. - Despues de que cada parte este dominada, continua con sopranos y altos juntos, y luego tenor y bajos juntos. - Termina practica con todas las voces al mismo tiempo. - Practica con la solista y dueto por separado. - Acomoda a los integrantes del coro en forma de media luna. En la primera fila, sopranos, luego altos, tenores y bajos. Luego una segunda fila de las misma forma. Y asi sucesivamente. Las sopranos tienen que estar viendo a los bajos de frente. De esta manera, todos los integrantes pueden escuchar y disfrutar de la armonia. Duracion de la pieza: 2:18 a velocidad 80 (12/8).
