Before You is an anthem for anyone that has ever felt left out. Minor verses underline the feeling of exclusion that so many people today unfortunately have felt. Uplifting lyrics in the chorus share the message of thinking before you speak and equality between everyone. This pop ballad is in 8 parts and would be best fit for a show choir or another ensemble of that type. J. L. Daniel composed this piece to show that everyone is loved and is worth loving. .

Amiruddin Tjitraprawira, a figure who hails from Bangkalan Madura, is not widely known in his current condition. He was born on May 18, 1920 and died on December 17, 1975. A number of songs created by R. Amiruddin Tjitraprawira, circulated a lot like the song; Pangèran Trunodjojo, Madhurâ O Madhurâ, Asta Aermata, Kerrabhân Sape, Djoko Tole, Tera' Bulân, È Pasèsèr, Kè' Lèsap, Kembhângnga Naghârâ, Tondu' Majâng, Aèng Tantja 'Torowan, Orèng Matrol and others. This song is a regional Madurese song because it really describes the lives of the coastal communities of Madura who work as fishermen. The song Tondu' Majâng tells the life of a Madurese fisherman. Their life is described as very hard because they have to deal with many dangers at sea (atemmo bhâbhâjâ). They also have to risk their lives (abhândhâ nyabâ) to support their families who are left at home. Sometimes to catch a lot of fish they have to stay for days on the boat so they become used to the sea and rely on the waves as a pillow and the wind as their blanket (abhântal ombâ' sapo' angèn salanjhânga). Many write this song from Madura with Tanduk Majeng, even though the word tanduk or tandu' means horn in Indonesian. Meanwhile, when paired with the context and lyrics of this song, it is true that there is tondu' which means arrived. So it is appropriate to use tondu' instead of horns because what is told in this song is the arrival of the fishermen when they are looking for fish. Otniel Simangunsong is a conductor and composer from Indonesia. He was born in Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra on August 19, 1996. Currently he is a conductor of Benedicamus Chante Choir - Darma Cendika Catholic University Student Choir, Surabaya. He has also got some supports from another professional conductors and composers. Tondu' Majâng is arranged a capella with soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass voices. This arrangement shows the accompaniment of acoustic musical instruments such as guitar, bass and drums.

Published by Stephanie Daige (A0.796870). This little fugue is one of Bach's most famous and beloved organ works. Re-imagined for double reed choir, it is a challenging and fun setting for this fugue. The different instruments take turns entering with the subject of the fugue, and interplay back and forth with the other instruments. The timbres of the different instruments adds a whole new textural dimension to this already fascinating work by J.S. Bach. I considered the need to breathe for each of these wind instruments, which obviously wasn't an issue for the original version intended for organ. This piece would be appropriate for advanced high school students, college students, or professionals. It would do well in a chamber music concert, in a church, or between acts of a larger ensemble concert, perhaps in another location of the auditorium while a (quiet!) set change is taking place. It would also work well as prelude or lobby music. The duration is just over three minutes (or longer if you prefer to take it slower). Each measure is numbered individually for convenience during rehearsals. I hope you will enjoy performing this piece as much as I have enjoyed arranging it! DSCHbags vs. BACHstards was inspired by a tweet I saw once (can't remember whose) offering the world a new word 'DSCHbag' to describe classical composers who are self-obsessed enough to need to include their musical signnature in every piece they write. My quick witted friend Peter J Casey replied with 'What a BACHstard' and this a cappella work was born.Don't think I don't like Shostakovich and bach. I really them and their musical signature thing is genuinely really clever, but I can't help but liked this habit to rapper who insist on yelling their own names in their songs. That is just plainn annoying.Performance note: The singers should be arranged in two SATB quartets that are mirror images of one another, so that singers may aim each motif directly to the face of their counterpart, like a weapon of sorts, laser beams for eyes.(DSCHbags vs. BACHstards was commissioned by The Song Company).
