O. : Is my newest sci-fi full length modern play in the TYNE ONSTAGE series of original musicals. I wrote this specifically for the senior students of the Performing Arts. It has many leading parts for both sexes and has a hint of the 60-70 style of writing found in those musicals of the times but modern in context. The story line includes opportunities for many individual performances covering song and dance numbers, group singing, contemporary dance, dramatic interludes and strong comedy parts. This is an original story taking a humorous look at a possible visitation from our space neighbours. The story begins with the arrival of GS2, an ‘Interstellar Space Surveyor’ on its mission to map this part of the Universe. Whilst reporting its position to the home base ‘Niva’, the surveyor informs them that one of the planets (Earth) appears to have intelligent life forms. On receiving this information Niva decides to dispatch a party of college students to study this unique planet, much to the annoyance of GS2 who take umbridge at being appointed, what he calls a Galactic Nanny! Events take a dramatic turn when the surveyor is called away on an ‘emergency rescue mission’ so has to beam the students down to planet Earth, where during transmutation, they are warned not to integrate with the population. But ‘students being students’ the consequences are both hilarious and profound.This album includes the Piano & Vocal Score along with the full Libretto.For full information please see my website:- https://www.tynemusic.com/u-f-oP.S. Owing to the high cost in orchestration The music is only available as a piano score with lyrics and chords. However this is reflected in the price. GRACE DARLING was known as the ‘Heroine of the Farne Islands’ off the Northumberland coast where she lived with her family in the Longstone Lighthouse. She became a household name when in 1838 along with ther father William Darling rowed out in a North Sea gale to rescue 9 passengers from the capsized paddle steamer Forfarshire. Honoured by royalty, her fame was short-lived as she died of Tuberculosis in 1842 aged only 27. This pack comprises: 2 x piccolo plus flute, 1 x oboe, 1 x Uilleann pipes (or second oboe), 2 x trumpet, 2 x trombone, 1 x piano, 10 x first violin, 10 x second violin, 8 x viola, 10 x cello and 6 x double bass. Verbum sapientes defendit.   The Lorem ipsum is a text in pseudo-Latin, loosely inspired in a writing of Cicero[1] and that since the XVI century is used in publishing as filler text. Today it is used with a similar function, in electronic documents or web design. There are several versions of this text (of variable length), all them used to begin in the same way (Lorem ipsum … elit) but goon in different fashions. Therefore, I also invented part of the text, taking care of the metric, structural parallelisms and some hidden allusion to popular music (Tellus, ventus et ignis is Earth, Wind and Fire). The last sentence has even some sense: Verbum sapientes defendit means that the word defends to those who know. In the coda, since it is vocally much more practical to finish in m than in t, I changed the last word: dolor sit ipsum, what carries the existentialist message that pain is oneself.  Musically, the form is a rondo, with an obsessive refrain (based on the sentence we are commenting) which reappears without modifications.  This piece was composed in Bremen (Germany) on 18, 19 and 20 May 2015 (as if from a handbook: one day the text, the following day the music and on the third one big adjustements and the definitive precisions). Lorem ipsum is dedicated to Gonzalo MartÃn SaldÃvar. There is also accompaniment written for violin, viola, cello and bass, but it's optional. If you don't have a string orchestra handy, you can just accompany the choir with piano. There are sections where the choir sings a cappella. The piano can drop out there, but there is one section of the song where the strings and choir play together without the piano. This ensemble piece was written for a multi-arts program at the New Britain Museum of American Art designed to bring attention to the issue of homelessness. To underscore the uncertainties those experiencing homelessness routinely have to endure, the piece incorporates elements of chance and indeterminacy. This makes each performance truly a one-of-a-kind experience, and a unique addition to contemporary music programs. Key aspects of the piece are determined by the musicians themselves in real-time during the performance, which can cause the running time of this piece to vary between just a few minutes and, potentially, hours! The purpose of these roads was to enable heralds to relay messages quickly and reliably. Isaiah uses this metaphor to describe a time of preparation for the coming Messiah. Preparing people’s hearts and minds for Messiah would be like the leveling of land to build roads for royal communication. Malachi ends with the promise of a prophetic forerunner of Messiah.
