Thisarrangement of Apache has been madewith real-world guitar teachers and ensembles in mind.

Perhapsour instrument?s greatest joy is the fact that it exists in so many forms andstyles of music. Some players prefer the electric guitar and read from TAB,others have a classical background and are therefore more familiar with notes;others still prefer reading from chord charts with fretboard diagrams.

Thisdownload considers all of these musicians.

Guitar1 is the main tune, as played by Hank Marvin in The iconic recording made byThe Shadows. The music is provided in both notes and TAB.

Guitar 2is a part with chords. This is given with chord symbols, fretboard diagrams andrhythm patterns.

Guitar3 is designed to include the less-experienced player. It is in open positionand the part, being easy to read, is given in notes. This is an optional part.

Guitar 4is a transcription of the bass line. It is an interesting andrhythmically-exciting part. It is in simple positions and is given in notesonly.

Guitar4 can also be played by a bass guitar. The part is also given in bass clef(sounding an octave lower).

It is myintention to provide arrangements which are exciting, original, stimulating,flexible and which people want to play. Films of all of my arrangements forboth guitar solo and guitar ensemble can be found at:

Walking in the Air is the iconic, beautiful song used in the 1982 animated film 'The Snowman'. The Welsh child singer, Aled Jones, popularised the song in a single released in 1985 to great commercial success.

This version is for four guitars of intermediate level. In the single download you will receive:

Please note than I am aware that many teachers and ensembles dislike using TAB. Therefore, my TAB parts are provided on separate sheets so that teachers and performers can chose whichever system of notation they prefer.

Le son de la cloche, sur le th�me du Big Ben, annonce le d�but des cours. Ce projet est issu d?une demande de Mme Am�lie Grenier. L?aspect th��tral de cette pi�ce a pour objectif de stimuler le travail collectif dans leur milieu scolaire. Suggestion lors d?une prestation publique: Les guitares s?installent et commencent � jouer. Tous les autres guitaristes entrent en parlant, s?accordant, en jouant et au signal du chef � la mesure 5 la pi�ce d�bute. Bon spectacle Classroom wispers, is a soundscape of our music classes. First, the young guitarists settle in to the sound of an ostinato on guitar 4. The sound of the bell, on the theme of Big Ben, announces the start of lessons. This project came from a request from Ms. Am�lie Grenier. The theatrical aspect of this play aims to stimulate collective work in their school environment. Suggestion during a public performance: The guitars settle in and start playing. All the other guitarists enter talking, tuning, playing and at the signal of the conductor in measure 5 the piece begins. Good show.
