The ?Literacy Path? is a purely avant-garde work that initially was written for a progressive jazz band. This, in any way, does not mean that the work should be taken merely as a transcription of the original version. On the contrary, I succeeded to interpret the idea in a very inventive manner, and to show the full potential and specifics of a four Guitars ensemble. The \"Hutsul Party\" is another work based on the Hutsul folklore. The compositionis written for a Guitar quartet and may be interesting for those who is fond ofrock music with complex rhythms and \"heavy\" sounding. The ethnic musical elementsare emphasized also with the use of a drymba (jew\'s-harp) ? an authenticfolklore instrument which makes the entire music picture of the work reallypeculiar.

«Christmas Bells» -- an uplifting and stylish composition, suitable for any Christmas concert or celebration. The composition is scored for four guitars supported with bells/triangle, it is very easy to perform so even the youngest musicians can join the ensemble and become a part of the celebration. Canon on Tongo for four guitars by Dan Jones

Canon on Tongo is a canon for four guitars at ten-bar intervals. At bar 61, guitar one returns to the beginning of the piece followed by the three others before a joint coda at bar 101. The da capo at bar 61 corresponds with the golden section of the piece.

The fingering is chosen to allow players to respect the full duration of the lines (where possible). The resonance created is also very important.
