Please take a moment to listen to the mp3 audio recording as you'll really hear how this trio works perfectly for the cheeky joyous nature of the clarinet. This is ideal for mixed ability trio groups (so the less confident player - who prefers lower notes!) can opt to take the lower part, a more confident player can take middle, and the most confident can take the upper part. The key signatures (as written) range from two flats to three sharps. The entire collection is available here as a set for $22.00 (15 easy clarinet trios) or, if preferred, the individual pieces are also available separately (at $2.50 each). As each piece comprises only one or two pages the players will be able to read directly from the scores, without the need for separate parts (which also gives the advantage of being able to see what the others are playing. One of that set was called Roadside Inn, which I have arranged for Instrumental Trio. In keeping with the characteristics of the Romantic period my arrangement is full of contrasts and constant shifts between dynamics, articulations, and themes. There are interpretive marks in every measure as each part independently adds to the stunning polyphonic weaving. Not too difficult to play but sounds quite advanced when all details are observed. A great piece to show your musicianship as a group. To be played warmly and with passion to welcome people to your Roadside Inn. 3 minutes, 3 page score, 1 page @ partTemporary MIDI recording; a live performance will be much more expressive and free
