Polyphonic arrangement of the famous Austrian Christmas Carol and lullaby. The melody is a folk tune (authorship unknown) from the State of Salzburg. The tune appeared for the first time in 1865 in a folksong collection of Maria Vinzenz S�� (1802-1868), founder of the Salzburg Museum, it has changed slightly over the years but remains attributed to G. Alan Silvestri is one of my favorite movie composers. He composes mainly for the film industry, and wrote fantastic scores for movies like Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and Night at the Museum, to name a few.

This piece comes from the movie, Cast Away. The movie didn't have much music in it, which was intended to create a feeling of isolation. Needless to say, when music was played during a scene, it made a big impact. Silvestri won a Grammy Award for his music score in this movie.

This arrangement of the theme song is written for 2 altos, 3 basses, contra-alto in G, and contrabass flutes. The Bass 3 part is optional if you have a contra-alto in G. The optional cello part is to provide extra support to the contrabass, if needed.

This piece is very soothing and meditative. I hope your choir and your audience will enjoy it.

The Mischievous elves is scored for 6 flutes- 4 C Flutes -Alto and Bass Flute. It is a 3 minute piece of intermediate level, although some parts are in the early intermediate range-the whole score and parts is on the youtube link for you to assess.
Written in concert D minor with the range of around 2 octaves- Flute 1 has top G once. It is intended as a concert piece and a bit of fun as well as hopefully something different.
It would work well for concerts, recitals, productions as well as for Christmas, Halloween and Fantasy themes and concepts

Of all the Irish folk tunes, Danny Boy is the most well-known of them all. This arrangement is based on the adaptation of the tune sung by the King's Singers by Peter Knight and Philip Lawson.

This is a straight forward arrangement of Danny Boy that has beautiful harmonies and is rhythmically simplistic. This is a great closer for your recitals.

Scored for 3 altos, 3 basses and contrabass flutes. There are optional contra-alto in G and cello parts that double the Bass 3 & Contrabass parts.

The music from the movie, Forrest Gump, is absolutely wonderful, and the Forrest Gump Suite does very well as a flute choir arrangement. This piece includes the Feather Theme, You Can't Sit Here, and You're No Different.

This arrangement is written for 2 altos, 2 basses, contra-alto in G, and contrabass flutes. The contra-alto is not as well-known an instrument, but it is used in larger choirs. This part is optional. Also, there is an optional cello part that doubles the contrabass part. This part can be substituted by any C instrument in a similar range, such as a bassoon.

This is a great piece for all occasions!
