Pentatonix is well-known for creating wonderful arrangements and this is no exception.

This arrangement of Deck the Halls for flute choir - 4 C flutes, alto, and bass - is upbeat, fun, and it allows everyone a chance at playing the melody. It's a toe-tapping, happy piece that will definitely bring smiles to everyone's faces.

There are optional hand claps and foot stomps with very simple repetitive patterns. Substitutions for these parts could be a bucket or vocal percussion.

Such was the power of this song that generations have sought its healing phrases ever since. Percy Faith was well known for his spicy orchestration and this Samba setting makes for a unique sleigh bell piece. There is an optional sleigh bell part, but that can be omitted if you want to play this lively piece any time of year.....not just Christmas! It is set by John Gibson for flute choir (Piccolo, Flute 1-2-3, Alto, Bass, an alternate 4th flute for alto, and an optional sleigh bell part).

The movie "Psycho" has one of the most well-known murder scenes in movie history, along with one of the creepiest music themes. So, why make a flute choir version of it? Why not?

This flute choir arrangement is written for Piccolo, 4 C flutes, alto, bass, and contrabass. If your flute choir doesn't have a contrabass flute, you can substitute it with another bass flute.

2017 Holiday Contest Entry


This arrangement of five traditional Israeli folk songs and Jewish holiday music will put you in the mood to celebrate! The first flutes are featured prominently in this arrangement. Each part takes a turn carrying the tune, with rich harmonies and driving rhythms enhancing the melodies. The medley begins exuberantly in the key of concert d minor, moves joyfully to the relative F Major, then finishes boisterously back in d minor. I have included a version of the alto flute part transposed for C flute in case you don't have an alto flute available.
