Scored for piccolo (with optional piccolo 2nd picc) 1st fl, 2nd fl, 3rd fl *sub divides*, 4th fl, 5th fl, G alto fl, bass fl, and optional contra bass flute.

Percy Faith was well known for his spicy orchestration and this Samba setting makes for a unique sleigh bell piece. There is an optional sleigh bell part, but that can be omitted if you want to play this lively piece any time of year.....not just Christmas! It is set by John Gibson for flute choir (Piccolo, Flute 1-2-3, Alto, Bass, an alternate 4th flute for alto, and an optional sleigh bell part).

Let your flute choir take off to where they belong with this wonderful arrangement of "Up Where We Belong", the 1982 #1 Hit from the Paramount motion picture An Officer and a Gentleman. This wonderful work stays true to the feel of the work without pushing your flute choir too much. A wonderful song which emphasizes that true love can make any relationship stronger, this is a great addition to any concert.

This work's 4th Flute part is a concert transposition of the Alto Flute part.
