Ah, Christmas music! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, the music at this time of year is just the best thing ever! If you are like me, you have your favorites that have to be played or else nothing's right in the world. This is one of those songs for me.

This song is from the album "Christmas Portrait" by The Carpenters. The song appeals to my classical side, and it exudes happiness and goodwill. It is a simple and catchy tune, and one that I hope you and your audience will enjoy tremendously!

Scored for piccolo, 3 C flutes, alto, bass & contrabass. There is an optional cello part that can also be played by any instrument in a similar bass clef range - to add oomph to the bass line. This is for musicians with advanced-intermediate musical skills.

This piece is arranged smartly, and to be fun for your flutist group and for all audiences to enjoy as well. Great for program music, summer music , march music, early 20th century music, cake walks, reminisces music for audiences, fun to place in between "serious /stuffy pieces", or just to have fun with.
A piece that can be used for lots of occasions and events, and Holiday programs whether Flag Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, etc.

Percy Faith was well known for his spicy orchestration and this Samba setting makes for a unique sleigh bell piece. There is an optional sleigh bell part, but that can be omitted if you want to play this lively piece any time of year.....not just Christmas! It is set by John Gibson for flute choir (Piccolo, Flute 1-2-3, Alto, Bass, an alternate 4th flute for alto, and an optional sleigh bell part).

The theme song from Halloween ranks as one of the creepiest movie theme songs ever. It was first composed in 1978, and is still creeping people out just as strong as ever. Critics have grumbled about it being too simple, but that's what makes this piece so memorable.

Set at a time signature of 5/4 throughout, this arrangement is scored for 2 C flutes, alto, and bass. Each of these 4 parts have 2 part divisis at one point or other. Optional contrabass and cello parts are also included.

It goes without saying that this piece should be played in a cold and mechanical manner. It definitely isn't a "pretty" piece. The lower instruments should be strong, while the upper instruments tip toe on top. If you would like to add a little more interest to the piece, an egg shaker could be played at every beat.

This will give your audience the heebie jeebies.

This piece is simple enough for musicians with intermediate skill.
