Pentatonix is one of my favorite acapella groups, and I am thrilled to be able to write an arrangement of this piece for flute choir. This piece is sweet and relaxing, and is simple enough for a choir with intermediate skills. There is a lot of syncopation, so counting is key, but it is repetitive and intuitive. This is great newer Christmas tune that I hope you will love to play.

"Killing Me Softly with His Song" is a song composed by Charles Fox with lyrics by NormanGimbel. The song was written in collaboration with LoriLieberman, who recorded the song in late 1971. In 1973 it became anumber-one hit in the USand Canada for RobertaFlack, also reaching number six in the UKSingles Chart. The song has since been covered by numerous artists,including the version by the Fugees, which won the 1997 Grammy for BestRandB Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

This song is arranged forFlute Choir Quintet (Piccolo, 2 Flutes, Alto Flute and Bass Flute). The levelis Advance Intermediate and the duration is 3.47 minutes.

This beautiful song comes from the musical Yentl, starring Barbra Streisand.

As an instrumental piece, dynamics, tempo changes - of which there are many - and the attention to the overall emotion of the song will make this piece soar as it should.

A beautiful song in minor key, arranged for flutechoir by me, Ray-Michael Kauffman, a flutist and performer and arranger offlute choir/music. Since I play all flutes of the flute family, I like tothink I understand the complexities of what works and what doesn't for all fluteschoirs/ ensembles.
