Baritone voice and piano - Medium - SKU: MQ.8580-1E Composed by Juliana Hall. Secular, 21st century. 8 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8580-1E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8580-1E). English. An assortment of English country personalities inhabit this song cycle, which deals with the ideas of lost love and betrayal in love. The cycle begins with a ballad singer whom the speaker implores to song as a way of making him forget the pain of losing one whom he loves. Julie-Jane is a young woman whom the speaker fondly remembers after she has passed on following the company of a number of men out of wedlock. A fiddler plays at a country dance, watching as dancers couple throughout the night, and then for life. Carrey Clavel is another woman, one who scorns the company of the speaker, and finally Rose-Ann, who has led the speaker on without telling him she is promised to another. Duration: 24:00Contents:1. The Ballad Singer2. Julie-Jane3. The Fiddler4. To Carrey Clavel5. Rose-Ann.

Baritone Horn TC,Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1120812 Composed by Brett L. Wery. Classical,Contemporary. 12 pages. Sonata Grendel Publishing #722023. Published by Sonata Grendel Publishing (A0.1120812). The Answer is a science-fiction song set in a universe where myriapods—a subphylum of arthropods containing millipedes and centipedes—are sentient and sapient. The song is the third song in The Pedesterra Cycle including The Calculus of Division and Interlude and the Cleansing. The songs center on a plot by the more advanced centipedes to dominate the millipedes in order to sow doubt in math and thereby divide them into factions. While the millipedes distracted, the carnivorous centipedes will eat the detritivorous—eating organic waste such as rotting wood—millipedes’ young. The Answer is a soliloquy by the charlatan leader of the Brown on Black faction described in the first song as “sustained by fear and vindication.†In the song, the sham politician betrays their allegiance to the centipedes who have aided their rise to power. The song is the third in a trilogy of songs set in this unforgiving universe of Pedesterra.

Published by DF McCorkle Music and eBook Publications (A0.784820). ACT ONE: Song 7 The King, by Dennis McCorkle, is a contemporary pop-rock musical of the first two kings of Israel, Saul ben Kish and David ben Jesse and explores the contrasting lives and outcome of each man’s choices in life. [1 Samuel 10:18-19… - And he said to the children of Israel: Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all the kingdoms that oppressed you.’ 19 But you have this day rejected your God, who Himself saves you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and you have said unto Him: Nay, but set a king over us…] [1 Samuel 12:24-25 - Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you. But if you shall still do wickedly, you shall be consumed, both you and your king.] SAMUEL warns Saul and the people that if they follow God all will go well for them. If they do not, there will be severe repercussions [Somewhere Along the Way – Samuel]. As SAMUEL walks off, thunder and lightning start and the people scatter. This piece is sung from his point of view as he holds the baby while Mary rests. Jesus, can you feel these hands caress you through your swaddling bands? Do you know they'll work to teach you right? Can you feel inside my heart and know I'll strive to play the part that God has given me - a guardian for Thee? Keep your tissues handy! Also available for TTB.

Published by Alex Rodrigues (A0.1492576). The Last Rose of Summer is a work deeply rooted in Irish culture, originally penned as a poem by the renowned poet and composer Thomas Moore in 1805. Moore, regarded as Ireland’s national poet, was inspired by an 'Old Blush' rose while staying at Jenkinstown Castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The poem was published as part of his Irish Melodies collection between 1807 and 1834, and later set to music by fellow Irishman John Stevenson. The song gained widespread popularity and was incorporated into the opera Martha by the German composer Friedrich von Flotow, which premiered in 1847 in Vienna. This sheet music has been adapted for voice and piano, preserving the original melody true to the composition by Moore and Stevenson. The piano arrangement has been simplified to provide an accessible experience for music teachers who, even without extensive piano skills, wish to accompany their students. This arrangement maintains the melodic and emotional essence of the piece, offering a version that honors its traditional nuances while making it approachable for beginner to intermediate musicians. The Last Rose of Summer captures the essence of melancholy and the passage of time—universal themes reflected in the farewell to the last vestige of a vibrant summer. The melody, paired with Moore’s poetry, evokes a profound sense of loss and longing, with the solitary rose serving as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life and the seasons. The simplicity and beauty of this piece have made it a classic, both in literature and music, perpetuating Irish tradition and touching the hearts of listeners worldwide.

Baritone Horn TC,Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 1 - SKU: A0.1492586 Composed by Thomas Moore. Arranged by Alex Nunes Rodrigues. Folk. 2 pages. Alex Rodrigues #1069264. Published by Alex Rodrigues (A0.1492586).
