Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1402418 Composed by Donald Ashwander. Ragtime. Score. 6 pages. The Donald Ashwander Estate #985636. Published by The Donald Ashwander Estate (A0.1402418). Step into the charming and contemplative world of Donald Ashwander's solo piano masterpiece, Old Streets. Composed with a delicate touch, Old Streets captures the essence of a bygone era, where the facades of weathered Southern houses bear witness to the passage of time. Ashwander's keen sense of tonal impressionism allows the notes to dance gracefully, mirroring the play of dappled sunlight filtering through the branches of ancient trees. The composition is an ode to the enduring charm of historical neighborhoods, where the echoes of laughter, whispers of secrets, and the timeless stories of yesteryears linger in the air.In the heart of Old Streets, one discovers the subtleties of an introspective ragtime composition. The rhythm, though rooted in the spirited tradition of ragtime, takes on a contemplative and ambulant quality, as if inviting the listener to meander through the memories embedded in each brick and cobblestone. One can almost envision the silhouette of the old houses, standing sentinel along the streets, whispering tales of days gone by. The harmonies, rich with emotion, evoke a sense of nostalgia, allowing the listener to immerse themselves in the profound beauty of the past.Old Streets serves as a poignant reminder that within the timeworn facades of history, there exists a melodic resonance that connects us to the stories of those who walked these old streets before us. So, take a stroll through the corridors of Old Streets, and let the music carry you to a place where the past and present harmonize in a timeless dance.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1434051 By Damien Gauci. By Damien Gauci. Contemporary,New Age. Score. 5 pages. Damien Gauci #1014300. Published by Damien Gauci (A0.1434051). It's four in the afternoon near the end of Summer and you're sitting by yourself in the warmth of the sun, watching the world go by. There’s nothing like that feeling of the warmth of the sun on your skin, the sound of songbirds chirping happily, and a slight breeze that flows through your hair.Small moments like these are special and they remind use to be grateful for the small things in life, and sometimes these moments are what make us feel most alive. This composition ‘Afternoon Sun’ reflects moments like these in our lives and does so through the sound of a comforting melody on a soft piano. I hope that this piece brings you to your happy place where you relax in the warmth of the sun and take a break from the busyness of life.

Small Ensemble Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912623 Composed by Johnson Lee. Contemporary,Multicultural,World. Score. 4 pages. Johnson lee #4887. Published by johnson lee (A0.912623). There are many moments in our lives but none more significant than birth and death.Whilst birth is openly celebrated in our society, death however is treated as dark and sombre.I was moved to compose this piece Laid to Rest as I saw death as a final resting place and the funeral, a celebration of that person’s life as he is sent off on a journey of peace. Hence, this piece takes on a lighter, hopeful yet reflective feel compared to other pieces of heavier, melancholic notes.I was deeply honoured when it was first played / performed at Singapore’s late founding father Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s funeral. I had to control my tears as I was conducting the band and was so grateful for being able to honour him with my composition.During this pandemic, there are many healthcare heroes on the frontline working tirelessly to protect all of us. Some have even sacrificed their lives. I would like to dedicate this to these heroes. May they and their loved ones find comfort in this piece.
