"Holy Moly Wow Wow Wow?

About this song:
Sometimes, I use an exciting sound and words when my students have a good practice. I?d say ?Holy, Moly, you are very good? ?Proud of you?. One day, while I was teaching, One thought is flashing through my mind. And I think maybe it is a good topic to write a song about the word ?Holy, Moly?
In this song, on the first four measures, I use the notes following the syllable of the word ?Holy Moly wow wow wow?. Therefore, there are seven notes in every two measures. Another thing is that I feel it is a ?wonder? or ?marvel? words. I used 2nd interval to create that ?wonder? or ?marvel? sound on measure 5 to 6 (major 2nd). The 2nd interval movement also is appeared in the measure 1 to 4. On measures 36 and 37 (minor 2nd), hold the notes down with pedal, you will hear a long ?WOW? sound in the end.
When playing this song, please play andante. The andante (walking speed) with and the ?2nd interval? movement will create a feeling of
wonder and marvel. Please do not play fast at all. It is going to take away the ?WOW and WOW? feeling.
This is a great song for your teen students.

It is Cold for Beginner Level The story behind this song:I installed a brand new AC and heating unit at my house during the summer of 2014. The person who installed the system did not do a good job. I had a lot of problems with the brand new ac unit after they came to install it. One of the problems is that every year, when the temperature outside goes down to 30 degrees, the brand new installed heating system would not go above 65 degrees. Normally, it stays at 61 degrees. I was and still am very frustrated about this. This new heating and ac system costs a lot of money. (A person use the same amount of money to buy a nice small car.) Because the temperature has not gone above 65 degrees inside, I have had to wear two sweat shirts, one coat, one feather jacket, two pairs of cotton pants, two pairs of socks, and two warm hats almost every single day for about one month. I have been so cold every winter. A lot of times during the coldest days in the winter, I have to stay in my 1998 Toyota Sienna van. Because it is warmer in my van than in my house. One day, while I was driving, I thought about writing a song about how cold I have been.In this song, I used many seconds including Major 2nd and Minor 2nd. The Major and Minor seconds sound very sharp, like the cold that is cutting through your skin. It is very uncomfortable, and that is the idea behind this song. My Goodness for Advance Level About this song: One of my students loves a song of mine, titled, Holy Moly Wow Wow Wow. She told me that I should write another song called, Oh! My Gosh or Oh! My God. I said I would think about it. Later, I felt as if it was strange to have God's name in the title, so this is the reason why I changed the title to Oh! My Goodness. This is a light, lively song. It is especially for the teen. From ms. 1 to 4, both hands are following the syllables of Oh! My Good-ness with the triads going down from A to G to F and E. The triad movement makes a sound of surprise like a scream. Watch for the coordination between the two hands on ms. 10, 14, 18, In ms. 28 and 29, the same two measures appear again with different fingering. The tempo control on this song is very important.
