I have arranged this firstly in the key of C. I tried to keep as much of the original as possible in terms of detail and some of the difficult octaves and hard to reach chords have been carefully arranged. What I wanted to do was to give intermediate pianists who were perhaps not quite ready for the full version, an opportunity to play a version of it, also for pianists who would appreciate a slightly modified approach.
I didn't want an "easy" version as such,but one that retains the qualities of the original. It is a beautiful piece which can be used for concerts, recitals, weddings,celebrations etc
I have listed this as Advanced intermediate, but it crosses the line to Intermediate on a number of ocassions.

This piano version is suitable for students from Grade 6 onwards. It could be a good exercise for 16th-notes and triplets rhythm. Also, a good exercise to learn polyrhythm between the left and right hand.
Some alterations have been made by adapting the backup singer's line during the repeated post-chorus.
No sustained pedal required, but you could pedal at places where you see fit to add color.

A version that preserves the original, including the correct key of the original, A-flat major, while leaving out the second middle swing section that, in this artist's opinion, is supposed to be improvised anyways. Shortened version with all of the most crucial elements of the classic. This is intended for informal holiday gatherings, not Carnegie Hall or college recitals. 8/8 rhythm and larger note heads to facilitate better counting (this tune DEFINITELY makes more sense if you practice it by counting each measure as 8 beats and not 4 with subdivisions) for the beginning to intermediate level pianist.

Frontman Lukas Forchhammer described "7 Years" as a song that summarises his life so far and what he hopes to achieve in the future. He continued: "It's a song about growing older. This sheet music is a complete piano version of the Opening Song to the Japanese Anime --Demon Slayer. You could ease the learning curve by playing it at a slower speed (110-120 bpm) because the leap on the left hand in the chorus giving the drum grove could be quite challenging. However, if you are up for a challenge, you might find playing at the original speed (135 bpm) is very satisfying. Suitable for Grade 6 and above's learning.
