Piano Solo - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1514819 Composed by Zachary Seckman. Children,Instructional. Score. 6 pages. ZS Music Publishing #1089313. Published by ZS Music Publishing (A0.1514819). PEPPERONI PIZZA PARTY is a quick and simple piece for your late beginner that only uses the C Major 5-Finger scale, in honor of National Pepperoni Pizza Day! This is a great, quick piece for your students to work on their C Major 5-Finger Position. The 8th notes in the song can be played straight or swung. Also note the tempo marking - “With Some Pep Quarter Note at 112”. The song is good for beginners at 16 measures! There are two versions of the song you can use with students: Version 1 with regular note heads. Version 2 with note names in the noteheads. This piano solo is part of our Multi-Version Songs series. What is a Multi-Version Song? These are songs we have created that have different versions of the same song in the same file so you have some flexibility with your students who are at different learning stages! This allows you to provide these songs to students no matter what level they're at! This means that the song will come with and without letters in the noteheads, and if the song is in a key signature other than C Major or A Minor, the song will also have versions in the given key signature and version with no key signature and the necessary accidentals. Most of our Multi-Version Songs have at least two to four versions in the file. Your Support of a small business is greatly appreciated! This song is reproducible only by the original purchaser. If your colleagues like the song, be sure to tell them where you purchased it!Catalog: PM-PPPS-DG© 2024 ZS Music Publishing. All Rights.

Andante (2nd Movement) from Piano Concerto No. 21 "Elvira Madigan" (Mozart) - Solo Piano (Level 4)

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.752422 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus…

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.752422 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Mozart. Arranged by Rob Bushnell. Classical,Film/TV. Score. 7 pages. RBMusic #6014617. Published by RBMusic (A0.752422). Famously used in the 1967 film Elvira Madigan, hence the nickname, the Elvira Madigan concerto, Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 was completed soon after his 20th in 1785. There are 5 different arrangements for solo piano, each getting progressively harder and trying not to compromise on sound where possible: Level 1: Just over a minute long, this is the easiest version. Both hands are very simple and are very close together, making it easier to see what all the fingers are doing at the same time. No jumps greater than a fifth and no large chords, making it perfect for smaller hands. Level 2: Two version provided: the first just over a minute long; the second the complete length of the movement, minus the orchestra introduction. Again, the melody has been simplified, though harder than level 1, with an increased coverage of the piano. The accompaniment is either static chords (now triads as standard) or broken arpeggios. It now has jumps in the right hand of just over an octave, with the left hand moving relatively little between chords/arpeggios. Level 3: This version has an optional cut, otherwise is the complete second movement, minus the orchestral introduction. Similar to level 2, only one hand tends to be changing pitches/rhythms at any one time, but the right hand is now almost the same as Mozart’s original (with some ornamentation removed or written out in full). The left hand now has the familiar broken-chord pattern (see opening bars) but in simple rather than compound time. On the whole, the left hand moves relatively little between chords, although there are now some larger jumps when the right hand is static. Level 4: Like level 3, but with the broken chord in compound time throughout. Some of the orchestral accompaniment has been integrated into the music, though simplified. Level 5: The hardest version, more difficult than the original solo piano part. Still no orchestral introduction. Includes more of the orchestral accompaniment than level 4. This, in essence, is a piano transcription of the full orchestration for piano and orchestral. Here is a recording on YouTube of Alicia De Larrocha playing the solo with Sir Colin Davis conducting the English Chamber Orchestra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df-eLzao63I.

An excellent choice of piece for piano students who are mandated by their teachers to meet their 20th/21st-century repertoire requirements but who are also (for whatever reasons) not particularly partial to performing standard 20th/21st-century repertoire.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1357038 By Michael Swedberg. By Terrence Niska. 20th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score. 8 pages. Niska Music Publishing #941665. Published by Niska Music Publishing (A0.1357038). The people of the town gather at the dock to hear of the grand adventure about to take place. The trumpets play a fanfare as the brave crew board the ship and make ready for their imminent departure. The captain steps to the front, and the crowd grows silent as he tells of the glories and perils that await. The families, friends and loved ones listen intently while offering their silent prayers for the safe return of all those on board. They are sailing into uncharted waters, so there is no guarantee that they will ever again set foot upon their homeland, but they are undaunted and grow restless for they hear the call of the open sea. Soon all is ready and the captain closes his oration with a promise to return and share all the tales of their exploits. All those assembled on shore let out a final cheer as the courageous band of explorers set forth to meet whatever fate awaits them.

Published by Landon Creative, Inc. (A0.761941). Waltz Like There's No Tomorrow is a classically oriented piece of music in three quarter or waltz time. The song is about letting go and dancing with wild abandon. This is not your grandma's waltz. This is a powerful piece that inspires intentional movement with a like minded partner. It's also about not caring what anyone thinks. It's going for it. This is the sheet music for Waltz Like There's No Tomorrow, from the Solo Piano Space Traveler album, and was released on August 5, 2019.Recorded at the Peace Palace from February - April, 2019.You can listen to the song by streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora RadioYou can also download the recording iTunes, Amazon, and Bandcamp..Music mastering: Joe Bongiorno at Piano Haven Studio, Sedona, AZCover photo: NASACover art: DanLevin.comAll music published by Landon Creative, Inc. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.902533 Composed by Michael Mills. Concert,Contemporary. Score. 134 pages. Tom's Creek Publishing #6169717. Published by Tom's Creek Publishing (A0.902533). Reflections of Home is an homage to the first works I composed: the music that initially compelled me to pursue my dream. While much of what I write today seems worlds apart from these original pieces, there are strong connections between all of my music, even when it is not readily apparent. Half of the music in this collection are revised and expanded versions of a few of my very first compositions. The other half of this album are pieces I composed in honor of these musical roots. Reflections of Home is, in many ways, a literal title. It is impossible for me to compose, play, or hear this music without thinking of my youth, my childhood house, or my family’s piano. In fact, the music itself feels like a compositional home. These works are the origins of everything I create today, and no matter how far from these beginnings myself or my artistic interests travel, this music will always be my home.

The early editions, and many others since concentrate SO much on showing the voices and how long each note should LAST, that the important parts, which in our opinion, are when each note STARTS, and which hand plays it, are either left ambiguous or worse. So, here is an edition/arrangement, with 100% original notes, and precise L-R hand assignments. The French device of the laissez vibre or Tie to no where, is used throughout, for visual simplification. Many cautionary accidentals are included, so as to minimize the questioning of pitch that arises from such chromatic writing. Dur. 4:00 MP3 MIDI audio. Pedaling, ala Paul Badura-Skoda, is encouraged. MBB.

Instrumental Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1271184 By Billie Eilish. By Billie Eilish O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell. Arranged by Thomas Gunther. Children,Contemporary,Film/TV. Individual part. 4 pages. Thomas Gunther Music Productions #863576. Published by Thomas Gunther Music Productions (A0.1271184). About the arrangement This is pianist/arranger Thomas Gunther's beautiful and highly accurate piano solo arrangement of the 2023 Barbie Movie features Billie Eilish's song WHAT I WAS MADE FOR.  It includes even Billie's quiet humming passages. This solo piano version can be played all by itself, or with Billie's recording of the song.It is easy enough to learn for pianists that have no amazing techniqual skills, but can be challanging in different ways, as explained below. From the Arranger Thomas Gunther  The most challenging task when writing this solo piano arrangement of What I Was Made For was to notate Billie's rhythm accurately. Her melodic rhythm is very important as it supports the flow of the lyrics perfectly. Notating a singer's rhythm can unfortunately never be 100% perfect (notation is by definition quantized), but I think I got very close. An other challenge was to get the accompaniment sound like the original without stepping on the melody notes. Looking at my final version I think it is as good as it gets for a piano adaption of this highly emotional song.I really hope all you Billie Eilish fans out there will enjoy playing this arrangement! How difficult is it As mentioned earlier, the song looks simple, but to play it well there is a lot of things the pianist has to take care of. The most challenging aspect is to sustain some notes by either using clever fingering or employing the sustain pedal. Also, dynamics are really important, especially when ballancing the accompaniment against the melody. Fingering I included fingering numbers to give the pianist a starting point. But fingering is a highly subjective affaire. Every pianist should feel free to adapt her/his own fingering as see fit. Sustain pedal usage The sustain pedal usage is very important in this arrangement (I included sustain pedal markings for this very reason). For one, it helps sustaining some notes that can't be held otherwise, and of course to make the sound fuller (more cinematic). It is important to use the pedal to create a sense of space (distance). After all, the original recording uses a lot of reverb to achieve that. Chord Symbols I did not include pop chord symbols because the harmony to the the song is very simple and based around 4 diatonic chords. It would just cludder up the score. At PopJazzKeys.com/Barbie I talk a little bit about the chords.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028034 Composed by Maxwell Olson. Contemporary,Jazz,Latin,World. Score. 7 pages. Jake Madeira #3223163. Published by Jake Madeira (A0.1028034). This étude is one of energetic character with simple, yet powerful melodies and rhythms that create a sense of curiosity. I composed this piece in a simpler form when I was around 17, in my high school music theory class. All of the ideas were there, melody and structure, but what it lacked was experience. It felt flat. So, 5 years later, after I rediscovered the piece, I decided to put some time into adding flavor, excitement, and intrigue. In doing so, I hope that I've created not only a technical challenge that will strengthen your skills, but a fun piece of music that you'll love to play!Split into three parts in an ABA format, this piece features a main theme divided by a softer second theme, both of which provide technical challenges in their own rights. The first focus of this étude is to build stamina in maintaining rapid octave progressions in each hand. This is coupled with quick jumps in the right hand that require precise and deliberate movements to perfect. The second focus is to strengthen control over legato passages in rolling arpeggios, while maintaining a delicate touch for the melody, and exercising the dynamic range of the fingers. In practicing this piece, it is very important to start slowly and with definitive control in all sections! It cannot be stressed enough how much of an impact bad habits can make on the execution of this étude. If you work diligently on finger control and technique, it will stick with you in all of your future endeavors! Be warned though: this is a difficult piano solo. It will take time and effort to learn, however, those efforts will all pay off in the end. Don't let it discourage you. I wish you all luck in learning this étude, and if you have any questions at all, please feel free to email me at walkingreject@gmail.com.

Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Claude Debussy/Robert Orledge. 20th Century, Impressionistic, Repertoire. Score. 76 pages. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing
Contains Le Roi Lear: Prélude,Première Fanfare, and La Mort de Cordélia,Toomai des éléphants, Rodrigue et Chimène: Prélude à l’acte 1p. Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien: La Passion , and No-ja-li ou Le Palais du Silence<br> <br> From Robert Orledge's notes:<br> <br> My interest in the wonderful music of Claude Debussy began in the 1980s when I researched and published a book with Cambridge University Press entitled Debussy and the Theatre. During the course of my studies in Paris, I was amazed to discover that Debussy planned over 50 theatrical works but only finished two of these entirely by himself (the opera Pelléas et Mélisande in 1893–1902 and the ballet Jeux for Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes in 1912–13). Of the rest, many were never started musically (like Siddartha and Orphée-roi with the Oriental scholar Victor Segalen, 1907); some had a few tantalising sketches (like the Edgar Allan Poe opera Le Diable dans le beffroi, 1902–03); some were half-finished (like his other Poe opera La Chute de la Maison Usher, 1908–17); while others were musically complete but had their orchestrations completed by other composers (like Khamma, by Charles Koechlin, 1912–13; or Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien and La Boîte à joujoux by his ‘angel of corrections’ [‘l’ange des Corrections’] André Caplet in 1911 and 1919 respectively).<br> <br> For it has to be admitted that what some scholars call Debussy’s ‘compulsive achievement’ could equally well be viewed as laziness, especially as far as the minute detail required for calligraphing his orchestral scores was concerned. It was as if creating the music itself was of greater importance than controlling its final sound, even if Debussy was an imaginative orchestrator when he found the time and energy to do it. It also seems true that Debussy also preferred inventing ideas to turning them into complete pieces. However, despite the lack of detail in many of his sketches (missing clefs, key signatures, dynamics, phrasing, etc.) the notes themselves are surprisingly accurate, whether or not they can be compared with a later draft. Thus, a large number of sketches exist for his Chinese ballet No-ja-li ou Le Palais du Silence and it is not too difficult to see which parts of Georges de Feure’s 1913 scenario (see below) inspired which ideas. But Debussy hardly made any attempt to join them together after the first few bars.<br> <br> It was usually up to his publisher, Jacques Durand, to find solutions when Debussy risked a breach of contract. Debussy was supposed to supervise the orchestrations completed by others, but this supervision was usually very light and restricted to quiet, sensitive moments in which problems were easier to spot. Far from jealously guarding every one of his created notes, as Ravel did, Debussy once even went as far as to ask Koechlin to ‘write a ballet for him that he would sign’ on 26 March 1914 when he was hard-pressed to fulfil his lucrative contract for No-ja-li with André Charlot at the Alhambra Theatre in London. In the end, Debussy (through Durand) sent Charlot the symphonic suite Printemps instead, whose orchestration had been completed by Henri Busser in the Spring of 1912.<br> <br> So, when I was offered early retirement as Professor of Music at Liverpool University in 2004, I seized the opportunity it would give me to spend time trying to reconstruct some of Debussy’s lost potential masterpieces from his existing sketches and drafts—then orchestrating them in Debussy’s style when this was appropriate. I had begun this mission in 2001 with the most promising project, the missing parts of Scene 2 of La Chute de la Maison Usher and the sheer joy it gave me at every stage persuaded me to tackle other projects, especially when Debussy experts were unable to identify exactly where I took over from Debussy (and vice versa) in Usher.Contains Le Roi Lear: Prélude,Première Fanfare, and La Mort de Cordélia,Toomai des éléphants, Rodrigue et Chimène: Prélude à l’acte 1p. The old train station, closed in1967 for lack of use, is now a private residence.<br> <br> - SevenKings: It is a neighborhood in Ilford, East London. The earliest recordeduse of the name is as Sevekyngg or Sevekyngges in 1285, possibly meaning'settlement of the family or followers of a man called Seofoca'<br> <br> - EightStreets: it is a (very sought-after) neighborhood located in the heart ofthe historic South End of the city of Boston, Massachusetts, USA.<br> <br> - Nine Elms:a district of South West London. It has certainly changed its name.Musically, this last piece has a certain tango aura.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> Why eleven pieces and not more? The truth is that - incredibly as it mayseem - I didn't find any place called "Twelve" something. Yes thereare such names in other languages, but I wanted to keep some consistency. Thereare also pubs or bars called Twelvewhatever, but since they are not sponsoring my music, I had no motivation togive them free advertising at the moment.<br> <br> <br> <br> This album was released in early 2020 on Spotify, iTunes and allother online platforms through the label BlissRecordings in London (part of frtyfve).Find your favorite service here: https://frtyfve.lnk.to/NPVol1<br> <br> <br> <br> There are alsovideos of several pieces of this album. For details, please consult my biographers. Untransferable is the lived experience, the pain – and consciousness. The approach to this album is conceptual, as a journey from darkness to light, from the forces of oppression to liberation, from thanatos to survival. Musically, this album is also a way of reaffirming that I want, that I need to play and record music that is as authentic as possible, and not what is supposed to be successful in certain contexts. Certainly, the pieces on this album can be performed individually. These eleven works were recorded at Access All Areas Studios, Bremen (Germany); recording and mastering engineer: Nils Völcker. The recordings can be found on all digital streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, TikTok, Instagram, etc.). Until the full release of the album on 19 May 2023, please look out for the individual titles, which appear every four to five weeks. This project has been funded by the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media as part of the funding programme NEUSTART KULTUR – German Music Council Scholarship Programme 2022. Piano - Digital Download SKU: A0.1069959 Composed by Steven H. Boothe. Arranged by Ashley Ivers. Pop,Rock. Accompaniment. Duration 184. Boothe Publishing #4633665. Published by Boothe Publishing (A0.1069959). Most of the mistakes I made in life were between the ages of 12-16 years. Somehow I felt that I was smarter than I was. I thought that my friends were smarter than they were. I felt invincible. I made many foolish mistakes during those years. About that time, my family was preparing to move from Oregon to Utah. I remember my mother talking with me and saying that I could start over again. We would be in a new place with new people. No one would know me. I could be the person I truly wanted to be. I thought about this a lot, and when we finally made the move I had decided what kind of person I really wanted to be. In fact, I felt bad for being the wrong kind of person and hurting other people physically and spiritually. I eventually felt so bad about my mistakes that I decided that I would write or call the people I had hurt and apologize to them. Over the period of a year I was able to find, call and apologize to each of them. To my great surprise none of them were still angry with me. I was forgiven. That was a great feeling. This day will be forever what you choose. Once you leave this life you won't be able to return and right any wrongs that you have committed. So when you make a mistake, choose to make it right today so that this day, this day of good choosing will be what will last forever. Never let yourself do something that you know inside is wrong. If your friends are trying to talk you into doing something you know is wrong, don't just sit there and listen to them. Get up and leave the room, or the party, or the situation. Be true. Be the one. Be the son or daughter of God. Do what He would do.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.887255 Composed by Charles-Louis Hanon. Arranged by Martin Woodward. Instructional. Score. 37 pages. Martin Woodward #6513221. Published by Martin Woodward (A0.887255). Hanon Piano / Keyboard Exercises 1 - 30Condensed and Simplified for Beginners Easy ReadingIn this short book you will find condensed and simplified versions of the Hanon piano finger exercises 1 - 30 as well as the major, harmonic minor and melodic minor scales in every key (two octaves). What is Hanon? The ‘Hanon Virtuoso Pianist’ is a collection of piano finger exercises designed to give equal strength, agility and flexibility to all five fingers of both hands. Written by Charles-Louis Hanon sometime in the 1800s, these exercises without doubt have become one of the most widely used techniques by today’s pianists. In my opinion these are the best finger exercises available. One really great thing about these exercises is that they are applicable to both absolute beginners and advanced players alike, particularly as the reading ability required is minimal. Whatever your ability, these exercises will help improve your technique and finger strength. Having been written well over 100 years ago, the original work is now in the public domain and therefore digital copies can be acquired free of charge on the internet. However, most of these are very poor quality and the instructions are mainly in French or Russian - neither of which work too well for me! For the full version I personally recommend the ‘Alfred’ Edition edited by Allan Small which is clear and has instructions in English. So why do I need this book? The whole point is to make it easy to read and to reduce page turns - less is more! In the full version the first 30 exercises take up fifty pages whereas here there are three exercises per page for the first 20, then two per page for the next 10, reducing the fifty pages to just twelve. I initially produced this for my own use only but figured that others may like to take advantage of what I’ve done. Does this mean that the print is just smaller? No, not at all. If you are familiar with these exercises you will know that they are repeated patterns which ascend and descend for two octaves diatonically. To condense and simplify them and consequently eliminate an enormous amount of page turns I have shown: the all-important fingering on the first pattern (as per the original)then the repeated second patternthen ‘changeover’ patterns between ascending and descending - which are sometimes slightly differentthen finally the last pattern of each exercise which again is often very slightly different. I have also written them two octaves apart (for easy reading) and only shown them for one octave instead of two. In practice they should be played one octave apart and ultimately be practiced for two octaves. You can print out any or all the pages as required (the link for the pdf printable version is given at the end of the book). Please see: https://learn-keyboard.co.uk/hanon.html

This tune was premiered at the funeral of the first Prime Minister of Singapore Mr Lee Kuan Yew. This tune pays tribute to the people who have made contributions to this world. Their sacrifice and generosity have enriched us. Their love and spirit is passed on to the future and their example for us to follow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lJP6M6klPkRemarks from my friend Samantha Tang:I like the first half and very last part. Last Part is like a link back to the beginning, like a you went round a full circle, depicting life cycle. Beginning Part is is soothing and gradual; Somewhat like a child starting his life. It builds up and peak like a peak of one's life or career. There is one part I like, sounded like a mix of regrets and acceptance. When I listen to this piece of music, the word reflections comes to my mind. The second half that sounded bold reminds me of part of one's life where he was leading at his best. Its a peaceful Song with a lot of emotions that developed progressively.Samantha showed this video to a boy with Autism and he calmed down. I was told that the usual Mozart music does not calm him down anymore and he paid no interest. I like the first half and very last part. Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1030831 Composed by Michael C. Brown. 20th Century,Romantic Period. Score. 23 pages. Michael C. Brown #4051. Published by Michael C. Brown (A0.1030831). This piece celebrates the life and mourns the loss of my granddaughter, Paisley Gladys Hogan, who was but 2 months old when she was called to Heaven. These are the words I wrote just before her funeral.... I. The Presence - She was here. I held her the day she was born. I held her and watched her smile at me less than 24 hours before she departed. She only knew love. No one around her ever showed her anything else that humanity had to offer; like hatred, heartache, pain, control, or anger. II. The Shock - She feels a Hand beckon her to leave her mortal coil, and she enters into a world we cannot yet reach.. With no one home, her former body ceases to wake. The unimaginable has happened and we struggle to reverse it. Finally, it becomes clear that we cannot. She sees us cry and she wonders what is happening. Having never known sorrow, she only sees that love didn't cause this response. She wants to comfort us with the love she knows, but we do not yet sense it. III. The Questions - One word has confounded mankind from its creation; Why? We have never found an acceptable answer. We ask, Why did this happen? and What did I do? and What didn't we do right? and Why couldn't it have been me? among others. We only know that her absence has carved holes in our hearts shaped like her. She tries to tell us, You can still love me. I just cannot be seen by you now. It does not mean your love cannot make me happy. I still want it. I still feel it. Please feel my love for you. IV. Letting Go - The day comes to bid farewell to the vehicle by which she came to us. We struggle to cope that we will see her face no more except in pictures. Because of the brevity of her life, memories are few to relive, but to do so is to recall happiness. In sorrow, we return her to the earth. All that is left is to return to recall, to talk to her, to bring flowers and other gifts, and to await the day we follow her. V. Remembering - The days and years follow. Normalcy slowly sets back into our lives. The holes in our hearts will never fully heal. But the salve of her love and her memory help to soothe the ache. We still return to where we placed her mortal home, where we laugh and cry in tandem, where our hearts ache to fill the void left by her departure. It will never really get better, but it will become easier for her love to dull the sting of her absence. VI. The Reunion - One by one, we will feel the same Hand bid us to come. The same events will befall those left behind each time. One by one, she will greet us as we reunite with her. We marvel at how she has stayed with us as we stay to comfort those we had just bidden farewell. The rest cannot be imagined by we that remain..........
