From the CD "Journey To Rio" by Roger Davidson (Soundbrush Records)
Like many Americans, Roger Davidson discovered the bossa nova through the recordings of Stan Getz, and since then, the sounds of Brazil have been especially close to his heart. In four previous CDs ? Brazilian Love Song, Bom Dia, Rodgers in Rio, and Bingo ? he brought his unique spin to the music of a country that, remarkably, he had never visited. In October 2011, that changed.
Accompanied by his producer, the Argentine bassist and bandleader Pablo Aslan, Roger took his first trip to Brazil. Most of his eight days there, which he spent in Rio de Janeiro, were occupied by six recording sessions. Roger arrived with a hundred of his Brazilian compositions to choose from; the songs he recorded ? in addition to several new ones he composed in Rio ? comprise these two CDs.
?Journey to Rio features deeply emotional Brazilian love songs alongside Davidson?s French inspired compositions. "You'll Be Back" is the seventh song from Act 1 of the musical Hamilton, based on the life of Alexander Hamilton, which premiered on Broadway in 2015. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote both the music and lyrics to the song. It is sung by Jonathan Groff in the show's original cast recording. Within the context of the musical, it is performed by King George III lamenting the anti-royal machinations of the rebelling American colonists.

Here is a beautiful and flowing instrumental trio arrangement (for FLUTE and VIOLIN duet with PIANO accompaniment) of the contemporary Christmas favorite ?Mary, Did You Know?? by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. The FLUTE and VIOLIN alternate leading with the melody throughout all three verses and the bridge.

Though notated with FLUTE on part 1 and VIOLIN on part 2, the ranges are also accessible for other combinations of C instruments such as two VIOLINS. The range for each part is as follows: Part 1 (FLUTE) ? G4 to A5; Part 2 (VIOLIN) ? A3 to D5. For the violin on either part, all notes are playable in the first position making this piece an excellent choice for early intermediate string players.
