Can be performed with one singer per voice part or in a larger ensemble. Can also be transposed into any key to suit your choir.

Lessons And Carols is based on the traditional carol service held each year at King's College. Arranged for SSATB choirs, optional congregation, and optional C-instrument, this setting by Mark Edwards of the traditional Plainsong provides a poignant moment in your Advent worship services. The third verse brings a lovely SSA section that continues to include optional congregation in unison. This is a fresh way to incorporate a hallmark song of the season. Feel free to adapt the arrangement in any way to accommodate the needs and strengths of your group. The key has been changed to suit a baritone soloist, ranges from D3 to D4.
