Wake Me Up as performed by Avicii, arranged for Orff/marimba ensemble and vocal/instrumental lead by Doug Edwards. This arrangement is intended for school Orff and marimba ensembles and vocal/instrumental lead. It comes with score and parts. The Orff parts are in alphanote format to help young musicians who may not have strong enough skills to read standard notation. Lead sheets are provided for transposing instruments as well.
Suggested grade level: 3 and up.

Beat it! is a piece for 7 musicians using untuned percussion. I was finding it hard to find ensemble pieces for mixed ability groups so decided to write my own. Within the piece you will find parts suitable for very new players alongside some for the more experienced musicians. The instruments involved should be easy to find in most band room environments but, as the parts are all non-melodic, they lend themselves easily to replacement instruments and duplicating parts for additional players. There is a strong focus on groove and interplay between musicians, perfect for developing cohesion in your ensemble. The piece has been well received in national festivals within the UK.

This beautiful, scared Christmas carol has been arranged for melodic Orff instruments, giving the piece an ethereal character. Alto Met has mostly broken chord work throughout. Marimba could be substituted for the Bass Xyl. Performers will need their F# and Bb bars for some of the chord changes.

Another twist on a holiday standard. All percussion, but if you listen carefully you will hear the melody everywhere. Do you need to use the suggested instrumentation? Of course not, try whatever you want. Fun ANY grade level. Hand percussion, rhythm sticks, hand claps and foot stomps. Grade 1.

The Muppet Show Theme has been arranged for elementary percussion ensemble. It is playable by any combination of 4 keyboard percussion instruments. This arrangement is specifically orchestrated for 2 players on bells (bell kits are fine) and 2 on a shared Xylophone.
