La prima parte diquesto arrangiamento � ispirato alla versione di Pat Metheny, che si trova nel bellissimo album Beyond the Missouri Sky. Ridotto a sola chitarra, ho dovutoadottare un?insolita accordatura aperta:DBGDGD, ovvero RE-SI-SOL-RE-SOL-RE. Se scordarela quinta e la sesta corda � cosa abbastanza normale per chi conosce ilrepertorio per chitarra classica, non posso dire lo stesso per la prima corda, cosanecessaria, in questo caso, per ragioni di eseguibilit�. Se da una parte lacorda perde di brillantezza, dall?altra ne acquista in morbidezza e dolcezza, sposandosibenissimo con la nostalgia di entrambi i temi.

La seconda parte,il celebre Tema d?amore, �, invece,una vera e propria trascrizione, efficace e di complicata esecuzione, date ledifficolt� nella mano sinistra, necessarie a mantenere senso del legato ecantabilit�.

Alla luce di taliletture, ho ritenuto opportuno segnare le dinamiche e omettere alcuniabbellimenti e glissati. Lo stesso T�rrega, infatti, pare ebbe dei ripensamentia riguardo. Ho mantenuto, pertanto, quelli nelle ripetizioni, tagliando glialtri. Ho aggiunto e cambiato alcune diteggiature di entrambe le mani, considerandol?evoluzione della chitarra classica anche dal punto di vista della costruzione,nonch� la tecnica flamenca. Infine, l?idea nell?Introduzione, di eseguire laseconda scala discendente, interamente con la sola mano sinistra, �, invece,totalmente mia.
