You can find a performance on YouTube.My scores are intentionally devoid of expressive and dynamic markings (even tempo indications). Dynamics and other markings not only seem crude to me, but also imply there is just one interpretation of the piece. There should be significant development of dynamics, tempo and colour within my pieces, but I leave this up to the interpretation of the player.Notwithstanding the above, my fingerings are important. My pieces are 'guitaristic' in that certain notes need to be played at specific places on the fretboard in order to exploit resonances or harmonies only available when playing them there.

This song is a good introduction to caribbean feel and groov.If you´re a beginner then the key to playing this arrangement is simplification - skip the small details and focus on the most essential stuff. The more advanced level = more details. I´ll cover it below for every part.Bass (the easiest part)The harmony of the song is Bm-G-A-D, one chord per bar. The bass is playing mostly rhythmic variations on the chord triads. If the main part is too difficult, then focus on just the first notes of the bars. Also take one groov at a time - you can use one groov throughout the song. I believe this was written for an early Disney animated film. Watching this piece (available online) may help you get a feel for it. It’s in a ¾ jazz waltz time signature. I also believe Dave Brubeck covered it.I interpreted many chords to be played as triads or eliminated, and single notes are used. I tend to use a minimalist style that keeps the important parts of the music. I arranged it to be played an octave above as written (8 va.). It sounds great on electric guitars. Accurate intonation is important on this song. You do need access to the upper notes. It explores the upper register of the guitar. I also play many of the chords as arpeggios (varying between high note to low note and vice versa). It is a very beautiful tune! I hope you will like it! I certainly do!P.S. I have to admit, I like using chorus and delay on the electric guitar, it gives an ethereal quality to this one!

This is the complete work, rather than just the melody itself which is widely available elsewhere. The central section will need some dedicated practise for most players, to achieve a decent speed, but it is not difficult. I have used harmonics to include some of the notes in the higher octave in places, both natural and artificial harmonics with the right hand. This is an advanced technique but the effort is worthwhile. I hope you enjoy my arrangement.

FROM THE PREFACEThe fourth volume of Renaissance music for classical guitar contains twenty mostly well-known and a few more rare intermediate Renaissance pieces taken mainly from lute and vihuela sources. I have tried to keep the upper level of technical difficulty to the contemporary grade VI level of the A.B.R.S.M. which takes the student to the advanced level (grades VII-VIII).The pieces are given in two versions, first as decorated pages in ordinary notation, and then the same pieces are again given in undecorated pages of notation and tablature. Therefore each volume contains two books in one and the choice is left to the user whether to keep the volume as presented, or to construct his own book by inclusion or deletion of unwanted pages, blank pages, etc, for use either as a printed or a tablet-screen book version. Released in the summer of 2016, Keith Gehle’s 5th full length commercial recording (Space and Time) is a sincere, heartfelt journey of healing through instrumental sounds and compositions. The album features 11 tracks of steel and nylon string guitars with accompanying piano, cello, flute, oboe, strings and synth pad sounds. Keith wrote the music and produced the recordings over several years after the unexpected death of his brother Ken in January of 2010. The process of grieving an unimaginable loss coupled with writing and recording music as a tribute to his late brother was extremely difficult and at times painful. The resulting work is honest, pure, and for Keith, a healing endeavor. This folio contains seven pieces from the album that work well as guitar solos and include detailed fingerings and interpretation. There's also a version with TAB available on this site. Dynamics and other markings are not only crude, but imply there is only one interpretation of the piece. There should be significant development of dynamics, tempo and colour within my pieces, but I leave this to the interpretation of the player.Notwithstanding the above, the fingerings are important. My pieces are 'guitaristic' in that certain notes need to be played at specific places on the fretboard in order to exploit resonances or harmonies only available when playing them there.

Anonymous Soldier seeks to portray the fight between what you need to do and what you want to do. It reflects that battle against the Impostor Syndrome, which tells you how far you are from where you really belong. It is my everyday fight for my dreams, despite how hard they are to achieve, and despite the conflicting context I might be living in (writing classical music from my home of Argentina). This piece explores the use of tremolo effect, which is usually found in advanced pieces. As I am not able to play pieces like Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Tárrega) or Una Limosna por el Amor de Dios (Barrios), I tried to write a piece with this technique I enjoy listening to a lot, in a way that I can perform it while improving my playing.

Beautiful, instantly recognizable melody. One of The Beatles finer pieces. This piece makes you stand out as a solo jazz guitarist of all idioms. Some chords are played as triads or dyads or eliminated, and single notes are used. I draw a line over the note if it's the high note of a chord or I use a dot if it's played as a single note, the chord is then in parentheses. I tend to use a minimalist style that keeps the important parts of the music. Sounds great on acoustic and electric guitars.I realise there are many arrangments of this great song. Give mine a try...I tend to play this song as a ballad. It's such a beautiful melody no need to rush it. Better to relish it! I love this tune! Hope you will too.

The lower two strings need to be tuned to G and B to acheive the correct pitch intended by the compser. I hope threre will be some 8 string players out there who will be able to enjoy this arrangement. I intend to make a recording and a YouTube video in due course.
