A new arrangement of music  especially for ’’National Day’’ in Norway, which falls on the 17th of May each year.Bands all over the land march around their towns and villages, in celebration of Norway’s independence from Sweden.The little set consists of ’’Ja vi elsker’’, ’’Fagert er landet’’, ’’Gud signe vårt dyre fedreland’,’’Smaa barnas nasjonalsang’’, ’’Kongsesangen’’, an original march entitled ’’17 mai (Constitution marsj)’’, and a small compilation of three marches which include,’'Alle fugler'', ’’Gammel Jegermarsj’’ and ’’Mellom bakkar og berg’’ by Lindeman; and finally Norge i rødt, hvitt og blått  (Norway in red, white and blue).These arrangements will work very well with just four players.  As long as you cover all four parts, you are guaranteed a very rich and full-sounding arrangement.If you have some percussion players to augment your group, it will sound even better.This arrangement comes with parts for flexible band.If you are interested in other music for brass, have a look at my Norwegian publisher’s web site, for my set of ’’7 Julesangs’’, for Brass Quartet, Flexible Band and Piano:www.musikk-huset.noThe Norwegian Constitution Day is the National Day of Norway and is an official national holiday each year. Hence, he concentrated on music that consequently took advantage of resonance and likewise reverberation for maximum effect. Seems like Gabrieli may have invented dynamics – or was rather the first to indicate them such as in his Sonata Pian’ e Forte. Consequently, he was also a pioneer in spatial techniques. He therefore developed and used very specific notation to indicate instrumentation. Gabrieli experimented with assembling massive instrumental forces into isolated groups separated by space. In this way, he consequently contributed heavily to the Baroque Concertato style. Polychoral Works Gabrieli probably used the layout of the San Marco church for his experiments. This is because he worked there as a musician and composer. Furthermore, the church had two choir lofts facing each other. He certainly used these to create striking spatial effects between instrumental forces. Certainly, many of his works are composed such that a choir or instrumental group could first be heard on one side, then consequently followed by a response from the group on the other side. Sometimes there was probably a third group positioned near the main altar as well. Spatial Music Above all, Gabrieli studied carefully detailed groups of instruments and singers. Furthermore, it seems like he created precise directions for instrumentation in rather more than two groups. The instruments, because they could be appropriately situated, could consequently be heard with perfect clearness at distant locations. As a result, arrangements which seem bizarre on paper, can in contrast sound perfectly in-balance. First Works Finally, Gabrieli published his first motets along with his uncle Andrea's compositions in Concerti (1587). These compositions furthermore indicate considerable usage of dialogue and echo effects. Consequently, here we see low and high choirs with the variance between their ranges indicated by instrumental accompaniment. Seems like Gabrieli’s later motets Sacrae Symphoniae (1597) move away from close antiphony. In contrast, he moves towards not simply echoing the material, but developing it by sequential choral entrances. Even more, he takes this procedure to the extreme in the Motet Omnes Gentes. Unlike earlier works, here the instruments are certainly an essential part of the presentation. Also, only parts marked: Capella are supposed to be sung. Homophony Hence, after 1605, Gabrieli moves to a much more homophonic style. He writes sections purely for instruments – which calls Sinfonia – and smaller sections for vocal soloists, accompanied by a basso continuo.

A Concert band or large ensemble arrangement with the Slash Guitar solo of this awesome song by Guns N' Roses as a versatile option that can be performed with or without the added rhythm section. It is transcribed from the Album version so has the extra section in the middle which allows a true to the original performance with the full guitar solo. The original key of Db does pose a challenge for band members which transposed down to C and the arrangement for sale was performed with great success this summer to 800 people for an event with great results. It was easier to have the Lead guitarist down tune their guitar making it easier to learn quickly as a band. Many arrangements simply put in a repeat using the same music but this is a full arrangement encompassing the original song as close as possible. The rhythm section is fully written out for those musicians that don't read chords which are also included for more advanced musicians. The solo Guitar part is in the audio but there are more in depth transcriptions available from online sheet music Guitar specialist websites that will be a more accurate version. Sunshine On My Shoulders – Concert Band Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry Sunshine on the water looks so lovely Sunshine almost always makes me high Sunshine on My Shoulders (sometimes titled simply Sunshine) is a song recorded and co-written by American singer-songwriter John Denver. It was originally released as an album track on 1971's Poems, Prayers & Promises and later, as a single in 1973. Denver wrote this song on an early spring day in Minnesota when the rain was gently falling. He found himself looking forward to spending more time outdoors and enjoying the sunshine. He said of the song, On one level it was about the virtues of love. On another, more deeply felt level, it reached for something the whole world could embrace. JB Dykes famous hymn tune Nicaea is associated with the wordsHoly, holy, holy Lord God Almighty, Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee...This arrangement will be useful to accompany congregational or choral singing as it is in suitable keys or it can be used as a purely instrumental piece. After a short introduction the tune is presented simply - a key change before the final verse leads to a majestic presentation of the tune with an effective descant. This arrangement is suitable for school orchestras and ensembles as well as more experienced players.
