Published by Edition Schwalbe (A0.1497124). The operetta Die Landstreicher (The Tramps) successfully premiered in 1899 in Vienna. The march Zauber der Montur (Magic of the Uniform) was not part of the operetts in exactly that form as it appeared as single issue. The composer formed it out of a duet and a further melody of his operetta. The arrangement is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and first time performed by Mozarteum Wind Philharmonic Salzburg conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their Three Kings' Concert on 6 January 2019 in the Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television. Following her departure from the Supremes in 1970, Ross embarked on a successful solo music career.The Boss is a 1979 song written and produced by Ashford & Simpson and recorded by American singer Diana Ross, who released it as a single on the Motown label. It was the first release from the album of the same title.This lively wind band transcription is sure to get the audience tapping their feet, if not dancing in the aisles.

As the snowstorm eases up, we are reintroduced to previous themes from before the storm's arrival, as well as a snowfall motive being played by flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, bassoon, and vibraphone soloists. Emotions presenting color has been a common practice for centries, and this peice is using music to convey emotions to present a color. A synesthisiac (like myself) will probably not agree with the colors, but remember, these are emotions, not listening. The first movement (entitled Blue) is a slow, freely inturpreted movement. The second movement (entitled Red) is a quick, stressful movement. The third movement (entitled Yellow) is a Danzoń (a dance from Mexico), the danzoń is light and springy. The fourth movement (entitled Green) is mysterious, with a jumpscare at the end. The final movement (entitled Rainbow) is a combination of all of the other movements.

Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas F. Wilson. Set in 1985, the story follows Marty McFly (Fox), a teenager accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean automobile built by his eccentric scientist friend Doctor Emmett Doc Brown (Lloyd). Trapped in the past, Marty inadvertently prevents his future parents' meeting-threatening his existence-and is forced to reconcile the pair and somehow get back to the future. Back to the Future was conceived of in 1980 by Gale and Zemeckis. They were desperate for a successful film after numerous collaborative failures, but their idea was rejected over 40 times by studios because it was not considered raunchy enough to compete with the successful comedies of the era. A development deal was secured following Zemeckis' success directing Romancing the Stone (1984). Fox was the first choice to portray Marty, but he was unavailable; Eric Stoltz was cast instead. Shortly after principal photography began in November 1984, Zemeckis determined Stoltz was not right for the part and made the concessions necessary to hire Fox. This included re-filming scenes already shot with Stoltz and adding $4 million to the budget. Back to the Future was filmed in and around California and on sets at Universal Studios. Filming concluded the following April. Replacing Stoltz delayed production and the film's release date but, following highly successful test screenings, the date was brought forward to July 3, 1985, to give Back to the Future more time in theaters. This resulted in a rushed post-production schedule, and some incomplete special effects. Back to the Future was a critical and commercial success, earning $381.1 million to become the highest-grossing film of 1985 worldwide. Critics praised the story, comedy, and the cast-particularly Fox, Lloyd, Thompson, and Glover. It received multiple award nominations and won an Academy Award, Saturn Awards, and a Hugo Award. Its theme song, The Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News, was a significant success globally. In the years since its release, Back to the Future has grown in esteem and is now considered to be among the greatest films of the 1980s, one of the best science-fiction films ever made, and one of the greatest films of all time. In 2007, the United States Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the National Film Registry. The film was followed by two sequels, Back to the Future Part II (1989) and Back to the Future Part III (1990). With its effect on popular culture and a dedicated fan following, Back to the Future launched a multimedia franchise. With this composition I wanted to pay tribute to an artist who was famous in his time and fell into oblivion until recent times when his figure has been recovered by various research works.May this work serve as a vindication of the great Marceline.The piece has an optimistic character and in its nearly five minutes of duration I make nods to circus music and the atmosphere of the shows in which Marceline participated.Marceline is the stage name of Marcelino Orbés. He was a Spanish clown, mime, acrobat, comic actor and circus artist, with American nationality since 1922, who is considered the best clown in the world of his time.Marceline was Spanish artist born in 1873 who performed in several European countries. Around 1895 he had success at the London Hippodrome and then enticed by producers Thompson and Dundy to come to the New York Hippodrome, where he arrived with great fanfare in 1905. He was a part of shows at the Hippodrome through 1915, by which time his pantomime routine and falling gags were falling out of favor with the public. He did reappear at the Hippodrome for some later shows in 1920-21 and 1922-23.Attempts to succeed in the restaurant business in New York and Connecticut both failed, and he lost money in real estate ventures. Out of work and out of savings, Marceline was found dead by suicide in his hotel room on November 5, 1927, with photographs of his glory days on the bed.Marceline was long admired by Charlie Chaplin, who worked with Marceline at the London Hippodrome from December 1900 to April 1901, and is one of just a few performers from this period of his life that Chaplin discusses in his autobiography. Chaplin recounts seeing him years later in the United States with a circus, and though expecting to see him be a featured star, was surprised to see him only amongst other clowns.
