Instrumentation spans an octave with the clarinets staying below the bridge. The snare drum plays rolls and sixteenth note rhythms in formulated patterns for ease of execution. Written in concert Eb Major, From Cloud to Cloud uses thematic melody lines and countermelodies to convey dancing children playing hopscotch in the clouds. This piece is light and fun, while working on intervals of a 3rd, a 4th as well as scale-like passages. A perfect piece for public performances that highlights the different instruments through numerous soli sections.

Most parts are doubled in order to make the music more versatile for bands with instrumentation issues. Two and four bar phrases are used with melodic scale patterns that represent the Silver Linings and the second major theme. This piece starts with the first theme Grey Clouds that are played by the brass, lower woodwinds, saxophones, and percussion section. The two themes are played together at the end finishing with rhythmic unison.

Published by Wesley Carroll (A0.1414041). This is a big band style an arrangement of We'll Meet Again that will be provide an effective addition to any ensembles repertoire, big or small. There are one or two tricky rhythms, but rhythmic patterns are repeated so that an effective performance can be achieved quickly.  Although the presentation of the music will be enhanced by having a full band, the music has been arranged with 5 parts, thus could be performed by as few as 5 musicians.A wide variety of instruments and transpositions are included in for each part which should be able to cover all bases, however if you require a transposition that is not included then please contact the arranger at wesleycarroll @ icloud.com  we and he will be able to organise this for you.

A programmatic piece depicting the tale of the Itsy Spider. The composition starts out very bright and joyful (the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout). Quickly, it becomes darker, as the clouds and thunder emerge (down came the rain and washed the spider out). After the period of darkness and melancholy, the song's key gets brighter and brighter, symbolizing the clouds slowly dissipating and sunlight emerging (out came the sun and dried up all the rain). The song ends joyously (and the itsy bitsy spider climbed out the spout again), celebrating the spider's survival of the perilous weather. Fantasy on Itsy Bitsy Spider has the following instrumentation: Flue/Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Timpani, Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Cymbal. The song features an oboe solo, in the middle. I hope you enjoy this thrilling piece that is sure to be a pleasure to perform and hear!
