Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1121448 By Franco Esteve. By Franco Esteve. Arranged by Franco Esteve. Classical,Contemporary,Film/TV. Score and parts. 68 pages. Franco Esteve #722619. Published by Franco Esteve (A0.1121448). About Contagion, the music From quarantine life, something painful this way comes, a new, pandemic inspired, life soundtrack… Contagion is a moment, an interruption, signifying an expression of feelings and music that the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic and quarantine brought to light. It’s a contemporary classical life-track, serving as a soundtrack to the contagion, to its spread, to its mystery, its attack on the body, to our losses during the Covid-19 pandemic and to our future beyond them. As the virus flooded every news outlet, Contagion became an interruption, a mysterious invader, taking over everything, needing to be expressed. It’s a “lifetrack†or “life soundtrack†with its contemporary classical orchestral sounds expressing the feelings and experiences of those first few months of dread and quarantine, through which many of us felt the fear of it all and the actual loss of loved ones. Original Album Release date: May 14th, 2020 Genre: Contemporary Classical / Life Soundtrack • The album length is 9 minutes and 33 seconds About the Score This version of the score includes ALL 5 songs in the album and the instrument selection varies in accordance with the specific composition of each of the songs. The instruments used are: Horn Section, Soprano Trumpet, Bass Drum, Piano, Harp, Tuba, Wine Glasses, Cabasa, Triangle, Violins I, Violins II, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Timpani, Crash Cymbals, Cello Section, Trumpet Section, Gong, Cello Solo. I can imagine the songs can work adapted in a number of ways by different groups or a very advanced group of students. It'll be fun to hear how others interpret them. Music included In the package, I've included the full album's music score with each of the individual songs and their instrument parts and the original published songs as a single HQ MP3 (320 kbps), so players can get a feel for my intentions when composing each one. (You can listen to them free at https://francoesteve.com or on your favorite streaming service - links on my website’s album page linked below). The MP3 also includes a cello solo version of Death Is Not the End. Track list 1. Contagion (2:15) 2. The Spread (2:24) 3. Patient Zero (1:26) 4. Infected (1:26) 5. Death Is Not the End (2:02) Composer: Franco Esteve Genres: Contemporary Classical, Modern Classical, 21st Century Level: Advanced The Package includes 1. PDF with the Score The full score for each of the 5 songs in the album. All the individual parts for each song as written. 2. All 5 songs in a single MP3 HQ (320 kbps) format file including the Bonus Cello Only Version of Death is Not the End. Full Orchestra - Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by John Stafford Smith (30 March 1750 – 21 September 1836). Arranged by Keith Terrett. 20th Century, European, Patriotic. Score, Set of Parts. 28 pages. Published by Music for all Occasions
The national anthem of the USA arranged for full orchestra. There are also versions for Brass Quintet & String Orchestra in my stores.<br> <br> <br> "The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States. The lyrics come from the Defence of Fort M'Henry, a poem written on September 14, 1814, by the then 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Key was inspired by the large U.S. flag, with 15 stars and 15 stripes, known as the Star-Spangled Banner, flying triumphantly above the fort during the U.S. victory.<br> <br> The poem was set to the tune of a popular British song written by John Stafford Smith for the Anacreontic Society, a men's social club in London. "To Anacreon in Heaven" (or "The Anacreontic Song"), with various lyrics, was already popular in the United States. Set to Key's poem and renamed "The Star-Spangled Banner", it soon became a well-known U.S. patriotic song. With a range of 19 semitones, it is known for being very difficult to sing. Although the poem has four stanzas, only the first is commonly sung today.<br> <br> "The Star-Spangled Banner" was recognized for official use by the United States Navy in 1889, and by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson in 1916, and was made the national anthem by a congressional resolution on March 3, 1931 (46 Stat. 1508, codified at 36 U.S.C. § 301), which was signed by President Herbert Hoover.<br> <br> Before 1931, other songs served as the hymns of U.S. officialdom. Full Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: A0.1008374 Composed by Claude Debussy. Arranged by Arkady Leytush. 20th Century. Score and parts. 24 pages. Arkady Leytush #4849775. Published by Arkady Leytush (A0.1008374). Estampes (Engravings) is the title of the triptych of three pieces which Debussy put together in 1903. The first complete performance was given on 9 January 1904 in the Salle Erard, Paris, by the young Spanish pianist Ricardo Viñes, who was already emerging as the prime interpreter of the new French music of Debussy and Ravel. The first two pieces were completed in 1903, but the third derives from an earlier group of pieces from 1894, collectively titled Images, which remained unpublished until 60 years after Debussy’s death, when they were printed as Images (oubliées). Estampes marks an expansion of Debussy’s keyboard style: he was apparently spurred to fuse neo-Lisztian technique with a sensitive, impressionistic pictorial impulse under the impact of discovering Ravel’s Jeux d’eau, published in 1902. The opening movement, ‘Pagodes’, is Debussy’s first pianistic evocation of the Orient and is essentially a fixed contemplation of its object, as in a Chinese print. This static impression is partly caused by Debussy’s use of long pedal-points, partly by his almost constant preoccupation with pentatonic melodies which subvert the sense of harmonic movement. He uses such pentatonic fragments in many different ways: in delicate arabesques, in two-part counterpoint, in canon, harmonized in fourths and fifths and as an underpinning for pattering, gamelan-like ostinato writing. Altogether the piece reflects the decisive impression made on him by hearing Javanese and Cambodian musicians at the 1889 Paris Exposition, which he had striven for years to incorporate effectively in music. In its final bars the music begins to dissolve into elaborate filigree.Just as ‘Pagodes’ was his first Oriental piece, so ‘La soirée dans Grenade’ was the first of Debussy’s evocations of Spain-that preternatural embodiment of an ‘imaginary Andalusia’ which would inspire Manuel de Falla, the native Spaniard, to go back to his country and create a true modern Spanish music based on Debussyan principles. Debussy’s personal acquaintance with Spain was virtually non-existent (he had spent a day just over the border at San Sebastian) and it is possible that one model for the piece was Ravel’s Habanera. Yet he wrote of this piece (to his friend Pierre Louÿs, to whom it was dedicated), ‘if this isn’t the music they play in Granada, so much the worse for Granada!’-and there is no debate about the absolute authenticity of Debussy’s use of Spanish idioms here. Falla himself pronounced it ‘characteristically Spanish in every detail’. ‘La soirée dans Grenade’ is founded on an ostinato that echoes the rhythm of the habanera and is present almost throughout. Beginning and ending in almost complete silence, this dark nocturne of warm summer nights builds powerfully to its climaxes. The melodic material ranges from a doleful Moorish chant with a distinctly oriental character to a stamping, vivacious dance-measure, taking in brief suggestions of guitar strumming and perfumed Impressionist haze. There is even a hint of castanets near the end. The piece fades out in a coda that seems to distil all the melancholy of the Moorish theme and a last few distant chords of the guitar. ‘Jardins sous la pluie’ is based on the children’s song ‘Nous n’rons plus au bois’ (We shan’t go to the woods): its original 1894 form was in fact entitled Quelques aspects de ‘Nous n’rons plus au bois’. The two versions are really two distinct treatments of the same set of ideas, but in ‘Jardins sous la pluie’ Estampes the earlier piece has been entirely rethought. The whole conception is more impressionistic, and subtilized. The teeming semiquaver motion is more all-pervasive, the tunes (for Debussy has added a second children’s song for treatment, ‘Do, do, l’enfant do’) more elusive and tinged sometimes with melancholy or nostalgia. The ending of the piece is entirely new. What it loses, perha.

Score and parts. 35 pages. BJE Music #3543435. Published by BJE Music (A0.750756). Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best Thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my lightBe Thou My Vision is a traditional Christian hymn, which can be traced to Ireland but is now sung in English-speaking churches around the world and is often sung around St. Patrick’s Day.The music is the Irish folk song, Slane referring to Slane Hill. Slane Hill is about ten miles from Tara in County Meath. It was on Slane Hill around 433 AD that St. Patrick defied a royal edict by lighting candles on Easter Eve. High King Logaire of Tara had decreed that no one could light a fire before Logaire began the pagan spring festival by lighting a fire on Tara Hill. Logaire was so impressed by Patrick’s devotion that, despite his defiance (or perhaps because of it), he let him continue his missionary work. The rest is history. This arrangement is for full orchestra with two changes of key. Also available for Concert Band as well. The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformerGrade = 3 Duration = 2:22 mins.

Arranged by Keith Terrett. 20th Century,Multicultural,Patriotic,Praise & Worship,Traditional,World. 27 pages. Keith Terrett #5205655. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.746971). The National Anthem of Montenegro arranged for Symphony Orchestra. There are versions for Brass Quintet & String Orchestra in my on-line stores.Oj, svijetla majska zoro (Montenegrin Cyrillic: „Ој, Ñвијетла мајÑка зоро, trans. Oh, Bright Dawn of May) is the official National anthem of Montenegro adopted in 2004. Before becoming the anthem, it was a popular folk song of the Montenegrins, with many variations of its text. The oldest one is dated to the 2nd half of the 19th century, known as Oh, Bright Dawn of Heroism, oh!, a popular Montenegrin folk song.It was played in public for the first time in 1863 in the national theater in Belgrade. It was a component song of the Battle of Grahovo or blood feud in Montenegro (Бој на Грахову или крвна оÑвета у Црној Гори) heroic play in three parts. It is unknown if the text’s authors are also the play’s, namely the following Montenegrin composer/writers: the father of Marko Car Jovan Car and an unknown Obrad Vitković. The play and the Montenegrin folk song was also played/sung in the National Theater again in 1870 and 1876. Its first record in Montenegro itself dates to 1887, when it was included into the regular school program of Montenegrin national songs for pupils in the 3rd grade. It was reconfirmed in the teacher’s plan for Montenegrin schools of 1888, which speculates that it must have been an established folk song for decades by then.Sekule Drljević, party strongman of a minor political party which was active in the Yugoslavian Kingdom in Montenegro known as the Montenegrin Federalist Party, rewrote the text and published it in 1937 in the book of then’s Croatian writer of Montenegrin origins Savić Marković Å tedimlija known as Crvena Hrvatska (Red Croatia), which confounded the thesis not of a Serb ethnic origin of the Montenegrins, which was the dominant one back then, but rather from the Croats. Its name was Eternal Ours… (VjeÄna naÅ¡a). When Nikola Hercigonja wrote down Oh, Bright Dawn of May shortly after WWII ended after 1945, he erroneously concluded that Drljević was the original wholesale author of this song, which also led to its considerable decline in popularity as a Montenegrin folk song altogether. The song survived until today under various names as a popular Montenegrin folk song under the name Oh, Bright Dawn of May (Oj svijetla majska zoro). This version of the song has been one of the several versions proposed in 1993 during the first discussion on the official anthem, however, on which there was no consensus because of the disputed melodic value.Need an anthem fast? Score and Parts. 117 pages. Matthew Naughtin #862632. Published by Matthew Naughtin (A0.1270201). On a stormy night in early 1939 Ary Barroso looked at a watercolor painting of a rainy landscape in his Rio de Janiero home and decided to stay home an write a song--in fact, he wrote two songs. The first, inspired by the painting, was Aquarela do Brasil ('Watercolor of Brazil'). He also wrote Três lágrimas ('Three Teardrops') that same night, before the rain ended. Aquarela do Brasil gained international fame after it was included in Walt Disney's 1942 cartoon Saludos Amigos, and became the first Brazilian song to be played over a million times on American radio in an English version by songwriter Bob Russell. The song's celebration of Brazil's great qualities marked the creation of a new patriotic genre within samba, known as samba-exaltação (exaltation samba). This rhythmically vibrant arrangement presents the song in all its joyous exhilaration. Score and all parts are included. The instrumentation: 2 Flutes (Fl. 2 d. Piccolo), 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets in Bb (Cl. 2 d. Bass Clarinet), 2 Bassoons, 4 Horns, 2 Trumpets in Bb, 3 Trombones, Tuba, Timpani, 3 Percussion, Harp, Strings.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1033685 By Brendan James Elliget NotePerformer 3. By Brendan James Elliget MAGA 537. Arranged by Brendan James Elliget MAGA 537. Classical,Contemporary,Patriotic. Score and parts. 41 pages. BJE Music #638998. Published by BJE Music (A0.1033685). The words for this song were written as a poem by my late mother-in-law Olivia Morgan (94) about the love of her adopted country Australia. She originally came from her ancestral home in England when she was 14. She spent her early years in Australia on a cattle station. Many years later she wrote a poem. Olivia asked me to set her poem to music, which I did in 1990 in the style of an anthem. It has since been performed by the local symphony orchestra and full choir. This setting is for SATB Choir and Orchestra with or without piano accompaniment. The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer… Grade = 3 Duration = 2:35 mins Full lyrics: Australia Our Land Australia great and fair Contained in azure sea Her beauty lies 'neath southern skies Enchanted wide and free From oceans pounded shore Through outback's silent space O'er desert sands and city strands She shows her varied face. Where high the eagle flies And mighty rivers run There rolling plains of golden grain Reflect the west'ring sun In bushland's shaded scene By mountain's dreaming haze There bird-land calls cascading falls Combine their songs of praise. Our country's bounteous gifts Extend from shore to shore In history's place, Her pride and grace Will live forever more This land that keeps our heart Afar though we may roam On land or sea Yet still to be Australia our dear home. (Repeat last two lines) Sung by Christine Neaves (Daughter of Brendan and Glenys Elliget) Words by Olivia Morgan (Mother of Glenys Elliget) Music by Brendan Elliget Copyright © 1996 BJE Music You can listen to the Vocal version at: https://www.bjemusic.com/store/p149/Australia%2C_Our_Land_-_SATB_Choir_or_Solo_Voice_with_Piano_PDF.html.
