This is a warm and reflective arrangement of Edelweiss from the Sound of Music. This version is written for piano four hands which can be performed as a piano duet or duo. The Piano 1 part can also be played with only one hand since it is one note at a time.

The 11 songs in this collection of mixed-level piano duets (for 1 piano, 4 hands) are arranged for a beginning student to play the PRIMO while the teacher, parent, or an intermediate student plays the SECONDO. All notes in the PRIMO are played singly with the hands in one position centered around middle C and then played one octave higher.

Each song is presented in two formats: on a grand staff (a combined score with both piano parts on each page) plus the alternate format with the PRIMO and SECONDO on separate pages.

Most of the songs are written in the key of C major and do not require using flats or sharps. However, there are a few songs in the key of G major (1 sharp) or F major (1 flat). These songs provide practice playing notes on the black keys (either an F-sharp for the key of G major or a B-flat for the key of F major).

These fun-to-learn arrangements are a welcome addition to the piano repertoire for beginning students and suitable for recitals or just some family fun around the piano during the holiday season. This is a fun, joyful, swinging one piano, four hands arrangement of Vince Guaraldi's classic LINUS AND LUCY from A CHARLIE BROWN'S CHRISTMAS in key of C with accidentals, dotted quarter and eighth note rhythms and first and second endings. It's a wonderful rendition, easily learned, perfect for two early intermediate piano students and a great performance piece. Full score, individual parts for both piano one and piano two and title page are all included.

"Arise, O God, and Shine"- Easy Hymn Duet is for a beginning piano student and a Teacher or advanced player. The Primo part is easy. The student mostly plays the melody within a set fingering plan with a few embellishments. However, an advancing student has the option of playing the melody parts in parallel octaves. The Secondo part is more challenging. Together, this arrangement breathes new life into a beloved hymn.
