Perfect for Palm Sunday, this processional trumpet tune is based on the hymn tune "Valet will ich dir geben", which is sometimes known as "St. Theodulph". The normal text is "All glory, laud, and honor". Featuring a trumpet tune interspersed with the hymn melody, the tune is instantly recognizable, and will make a triumphant start to your Palm Sunday worship. It was composed in C major, but knowing many hymnals now have the hymn in B-flat, the complete work is provided in both keys for your use. It was composed and recorded on a two manual instrument.

Certainly the most adventurous organ piece so far, this toccata on the well-known Palm Sunday hymn will send the congregation out with a spring in their step - or make your concert audience wonder how you got all those semiquavers! Descending arpeggios throughout drive the piece forward with the tune soaring out on a Tuba, Trumpet, or whatever you have available.
