Daniel Burton has written a second volume of his practical-yet-creative hymn arrangements with optional pedal parts. The hymns chosen are familiar ones used by all denominations. Each piece may be played entirely complete with just manuals, but provision is provided for optional pedal notes for those who wish to include them.

Here are SIX Advent and Christmas favorites (with a bonus Seventh work!) in one useful set. These are creative arrangements that feature these holiday melodies in easily recognizable fashion, but with new and updated versions. The tunes included are:

The hymn tune "Dix" is normally associated with the Epiphany text "As With Gladness Men of Old", but also commonly with "For the Beauty of the Earth". This fanfare postlude was composed in 2021 as a festive work for Epiphany Sunday. It was composed on a two manual instrument, and will give you the chance to feature a nice trumpet stop for the hymn tune, as well as full organ sounds for the fanfare theme!
