I needed a short, easy, joyful postlude to play after an Epiphany service on a very simple one-manual organ with a very limited, non-standard pedalboard, so I wrote this postlude (duration 2 minutes) on the melody Dix "As with Gladness Men of Old.."
(On a two manual organ, I'd be tempted to play the chorale sections on a different manual)

Starting with Advent\'s \"O Lord How Shall I Meet Thee\" (Valet will ich dir geben), continuing with Christmas favorites \"In the Bleak Midwinter\", \"Still, Still, Still\", and \"Angels We Have Heard on High\", an Epiphany standard \"As With Gladness Men of Old\" (Dix), it also includes a Christmas work for trombone (or trumpet) and organ, the peaceful \"Infant Holy, Infant Lowly\". All of these were written on a two manual instrument and are easily playable. The trombone work is aimed at a younger, less experienced musician, with a very supportive organ part.
