Intended for the small ensemble, this collection includes 8 arrangements that have been written for the treble clef, F5-C7. They can be used for 3 to 6 ringers or small ensemble. As we all look forward to getting back to making music together in church, we are pleased to be able to release this resource now as it is an ideal collection for "distance ringing." Our hope is that handbells choirs will lead the way back to worshiping with music in the coming months, and this latest addition to our extensive catalog of music for small bell ensembles is a great resource to get you started.

Holiday Classic A joyous bell peal leads to the first iteration of the theme before moving into a more flowing verse accompanied by delicate mallets on treble handbells. An optional dark and dissonant verse (which portrays one of the lesser-known stanzas of the Longfellow poem) gives way to a verse in minor before a triumphant return to major to depict the lyrics, "Then pealed the bells more loud and deep/God is not dead, nor doth he sleep..." An exciting and beautiful addition to your holiday worship or concert.
