Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.776858 Composed by William Tomer. Arranged by Leonora Hardy. Christian,Religious,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. Leonora Hardy #5309399. Published by Leonora Hardy (A0.776858). An easily learned arrangement for the church pianist who wants to have a more flowing style of music to accompany congregational singing rather than relying on just what is in the hymnal. To that end, the melody is retained, as well as traditional timing to help singers even if a song leader is not present. There is also an alternate accompaniment included, suitable for a postlude. Lyrics are included as well as chords for guitar. Early Intermediate to Intermediate level. Right hand melody.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1345691 Composed by Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #930572. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1345691). Have You Met Miss Jones? is a popular song that was written for the 1937 musical comedy I'd Rather Be Right, with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Lorenz Hart. In the musical, the song is performed by characters Peggy Jones and Phil Barker. In the 1937 version these characters were played by Joy Hodges and Austin Marshall. In the movie Gentlemen Marry Brunettes (1955) the song was performed by Rudy Vallee, Jane Russell, Jeanne Crain (dubbed by Anita Ellis), Scott Brady (dubbed by Robert Farnon) and Alan Young, Danced by Jane Russell and Jeanne Crain. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added some pretty cool left-hand fills that we hope you like!

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.502994 By Ed Sheeran. By Ed Sheeran and Jake Gosling. Arranged by Joseph Stribrny. Contemporary,Folk,Pop. Score. 8 pages. Published by Joseph Stribrny (A0.502994). Arranger notes: The vocal part was dictated closely from Ed Sheeran's performance. The vocal part is rather moving and free, so some light rhythmic liberty can be taken. The piano part is mostly dictated based on the guitar part. There are sections where piano is added from where it is performed in the recording. That's where the ossia staves show up. It is not to be performed at the same time, but rather chosen by the accompanist as to which staff they wish to play in the right hand.

Piano and Keyboard,Vocal - Level 1 - Interactive Download SKU: A0.1305516 Composed by Melissa J Hall. This edition: Interactive Download. Christian. Score. 2 pages. Duration 103. Melissa J Hall #56IDSu1NTCeGnxxQXRuYuL. Published by Melissa J Hall (A0.1305516). Key: C major.Inspired by the story of Alma the Younger found in Alma 36:12-21. In The Book of Mormon 12 But I was racked with eternal torment, for my soul was harrowed up to the greatest degree and racked with all my sins. 13 Yea, I did remember all my sins and iniquities, for which I was tormented with the pains of hell; yea, I saw that I had rebelled against my God, and that I had not kept his holy commandments. 14 Yea, and I had murdered many of his children, or rather led them away unto destruction; yea, and in fine so great had been my iniquities, that the very thought of coming into the presence of my God did rack my soul with inexpressible horror. 15 Oh, thought I, that I could be banished and become extinct both soul and body, that I might not be brought to stand in the presence of my God, to be judged of my deeds. 16 And now, for three days and for three nights was I racked, even with the pains of a damned soul. 17 And it came to pass that as I was thus racked with torment, while I was harrowed up by the memory of my many sins, behold, I remembered also to have heard my father prophesy unto the people concerning the coming of one Jesus Christ, a Son of God, to atone for the sins of the world. 18 Now, as my mind caught hold upon this thought, I cried within my heart: O Jesus, thou Son of God, have mercy on me, who am in the gall of bitterness, and am encircled about by the everlasting chains of death. 19 And now, behold, when I thought this, I could remember my pains no more; yea, I was harrowed up by the memory of my sins no more. 20 And oh, what joy, and what marvelous light I did behold; yea, my soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was my pain! 21 Yea, I say unto you, my son, that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I say unto you, my son, that on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy. Six Welsh Folk Songs for Voice and Piano

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522222 Composed by Tradition…
(+)
Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522222 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Folk,Holiday. Score. 21 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #3913261. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522222). These folk song arrangements are written in the Welsh language. The vocal range is from Middle C to F on the top line of the staff. They are suitable for mezzo soprano and could also be sung by tenor voice an octave lower. They are among some of the most popular folk songs of Wales and sure to be well received at a vocal recital. They would also make excellent encore pieces. For copyright reasons, English translations are not provided, although some are to be found on various web pages. 1. Y Ddau Farch (The Two Mares) The song tells the story of two horses. The older one tells the younger, “In my day I was as good a horse as youâ€. But when I became too old to work, I was sent away to the mountains. She vows never to return to her cruel owners. This is an example of a macaronic song in which the lyrics use more than one language. 2. Si Hei Lwli, ’Mabi (Sleep, my Lovely Baby) In this pentatonic lullaby, a mother tells her child that their ship is moving away, the captain is on board, the eastern wind is blowing and the seagull is on its nest. 3. Canu Cwnsela (Wassail Song) The singers ask permission to come in and sing for their dinner. But they seem to have chosen the wrong house because the reply is: “I have no dinner or money to spend, to give you a welcome tonight.†The melody is in the Dorian Mode. 4. Robin Ddiog (Lazy Robin) The song, also in the Aeolian mode is about a robin whose little house is always tidy. “Open the door a little bit, so that I can see the sea and the waves†he asks. When the door is opened, the breeze sweeps away all the leaves from the floor. 5. Migildi Magildi “When the smithy’s door is open, we can see the blacksmith working.†The song describes the sights and sounds of the blacksmith’s workshop. You can hear all the songs in the audio demo, though they are played by an oboe rather than sung.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.918799 By Hailee Steinfeld. By Daniel Wayne Sermon, Hailee Steinfeld, Jorgen Michael Odegard, Joshua Gudwin, Kennedi Lykken, Michael Pollack, and Wayne Sermon. Arranged by Jason Howard. Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Jason Howard #4405436. Published by Jason Howard (A0.918799). This arrangement of Back to Life from Bumblebee the 2018 Original Motion Picture is written for piano and solo voice. However, there are also harmony parts written in certain parts of the song, so the piece can be done as many as three vocalists. I chose this song because I love the lyrical content so much. To me this beautiful song is about how love can bring people back together even from the most painful of circumstances. I hope you enjoy this arrangement as much as I loved creating it.I hope that you enjoy my arrangement! If you do (or even if you don't), please leave a comment and let me know! As a current full time band director who would love to be able to do this full time one day, any and all critiques are appreciated, and I'm particularly interested in formatting suggestions! If you would rather email me than leave a comment, shoot me an email at jhowardarranging@gmail.com!A little about me:My name is Jason Howard, and at the time of this publication, I'm going into my 5th year as a band director at the middle and high school levels. I have quite a bit of experience with arranging of various types of vocal and instrumental ensembles and combos. Most are for personal use, but as I get time, I hope to publish more and more for public consumption! Primarily, I focus on popular music, and I one day hope to bring important and influential classical musics to audiences and younger students everywhere!

Voice and piano (2 songs with violoncello; 1 vocal duet) - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8491-40E Composed by MeeAe Cecilia Nam and Theodore Gouvy. 4 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8491-40E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8491-40E). French.A French composer, Théodore Gouvy (1819-1898) was one of the most significant composers of 19th Century in Europe. The movement of rediscovering his instrumental music has been increasingly successful in Europe since the 1990s, especially following the birth of L’Institut Gouvy in France. However, his solo vocal music has been waiting to be unveiled to the public. Volume One includes 52 songs of Gouvy.Gouvy traveled widely throughout Europe. He was also a lover of nature. Generally, he spent his winters in Leipzig, but in the summertime, he always returned to Hombourg-Haut, France, to stroll through the woods, to hunt, and to relax. Gouvy was fluent in several languages and had a great appreciation of the Renaissance French Poetry of Pierre de Ronsard whose poetry he had set to music. The fifty-two songs in this volume are largely by Ronsard and other Renaissance poets of La Pléiade.Although Ronsard is approximately 300 years older than Gouvy, they both seem to have the same interest in classical literature, though, admittedly, for different reasons. Celebrated by the French and English courts, Ronsard (1525-1585) was the leader of La Pléiade: a group of seven poets (Joachim Du Bellay (1522-1560), Rémy Belleau (1528-1577), Étienne Jodelle (1532-1573), Pontus de Tyard (1521-1603), Jean–Antoine Baïf (1532-1589), and Jean Daurat (1508-1588), who dedicated their efforts to writing poetry in French rather than in Latin (or Greek) as most of the Romantic poets did. They wished to enrich the French language, and establish a new literature which would be the equal of the other literature of their period, and the equal to poets of the past. French Romantic poetry featured the closeness of the poet to nature, and his ability to communicate with nature by personifying (anthropomorphizing) all of nature’s elements: flowers, the planets, the moon, the breeze, and even the sand upon the shore. As a significant melodist, Gouvy’s treatment of the vocal solo line and his treatment and development of the piano accompaniment places him in the upper echelons as a composer of songs. His diverse cultural life led a rich and significant musical life, interacting with his contemporaries who admired his work, and whom Gouvy knew well, such as Liszt, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Berlioz and Gounod.
