I ‘stole’ some stories—for example, when I was on line to buy tickets for the Campanile, or in a coffee shop,†he would note bits of conversations he overheard. Not only that the Great Smoky Mountain, which was clearly visible on the sunny day, was completely blocked by the fog, the neighbors' brick houses and flowers are also very hazy. But, the cricket's sound could be heard clearly. I wrote the Autumn fog in twenty eight Chinese characters. Twenty-three years later, when I was seventy-seven years old, I found the poem in the old manuscript and scanned it into an electronic version. I used two days to compose a song for the poem.
