This easy to learn SAB arrangement of this popular classic can be learnt in under an hour. (I've taught it in a pub!). Everyone gets a bit of a tune and has to learn some harmony. It's a shortened version with a classic key change in the middle! The last chorus is accapella which finishes the song off beautifully and the choir feel really chuffed when they get it!

Skye Boat Song is one of my favoryte folk songs from the British Isles. "Skye" refers to the Island of Skye, a large island off the northwest coast os Scotland. There are several texts to this song; all refer, more or less, to an uprising of Scottish dissidents against the English is 1745-46. After their defeat, they fled to the Island of Skye. The text used here by the poet Robert Louis Stevenson. Scholars attribute the first half of the melody to an old se chantey and suspect thea the second half may have benn written by Annie MacLeod.

"Three Lions" (also known as Football's Coming Home) is a song released in 1996 as a single by English band The Lightning Seeds to mark the European Championships of that year. It was written by the Lightning Seeds' Ian Broudie, with comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner providing the lyrics. The song has since become linked to the England football team whenever it competes in a major competition. This is an accessible arrangement for largely two-part (TB), occasionally three and four-part, male voice choir and piano.
