This arrangement is for SSA and Piano, and sits at a easy-medium difficulty level for high school groups, but this is a certainly possible piece for middle school groups as well.This arrangement features a soloist in the first verse with hums and 'oo's in the background; the chorus is sung by all voices in 3-part harmony. All voices get the melody on multiple occasions during the piece. Additionally, this arrangement features a unique canon effect between verses one and two, where each voice gets a turn to 'oo' the first four notes of the main melody (B4-C5-E4-G4) before going to other harmonies. Published by Celine Tsoi (A0.1011599). Tu te Rappelles? , meaning ‘do you remember?’, depicts the love of a girl to her partner. She reminiscences about her past memories with him and in the climax, she proclaims her love for him as she is soon to leave his side. This combination, an SSA choir with violin and piano, is chosen for it captures the character of a female speaker, and the piano adds depth to the piece but still keeps the gentleness of the message. The bright timbre of the violin as well as the use of D major is to convey positivity: this is not a sad piece. This speaker looks forward to the future and treasures their past moments together. This piece is in verse-chorus form. The chorus, starting from ‘Je t’aimerai’, and followed by ‘Jusqu’a...’ repeats three times before arriving at the final climax in A major. In between the second chorus and the third chorus, a transitional section, in F# minor, is added. This section, as it is about her difficult decision to leave, is stronger and faster than other sections. The original lyrics are inspired by a famous TV show, Game of Thrones , in which a character says the lyrics in the chorus. Different techniques are used to bring out the message in the lyrics, such as word-painting, use of harmony and instruments, and key changes. Parting is inevitable in any relationship. I hope this piece can describe some emotions and thoughts in the face of parting and can echo among not only lovers but families and friends as well.

Looking for consolation from his mother, she instead tells him he should have never left! In this arrangement, only three verses have been selected, just to keep the story short and sweet. I wrote this SAB arrangement for my mostly freshmen Concert Choir students at Whetstone High School in Columbus, Ohio, including a violin solo (or other C instrument) and piano accompaniment to support the singers. The first three verses are sung, and you'll see some of the words have been edited in order to have a better fit in a public school environment. An excellent choice for middle school or 9th grade choir teachers look to supplement a holiday-themed program. Also very fitting for Advent/Christmas church settings. The violin solo has no bowing or slur marks, and so the player is free to write whichever markings he or she sees fit for performance. If you are looking to highlight your women's group and feature soloists from within the ensemble, this women's-choir-friendly piece is a harmonically interesting and pianistically supported way to explore those textures.The composer writes: I often find it difficult to find music for grown women: much treble repertoire is written for children's ranges and feature children's themes, and the remainder seems to be about romantic relationships. When searching for a text that speaks to the nature of a woman, I found Emily Dickinson's little-known For largest Woman's Heart I knew. It seemed to pair naturally with Heart! We will forget him! and provide context rooted in personal strength.While Dickinson was a prolific private poet, fewer than a dozen of her nearly 1,800 poems were published during her lifetime, usually altered significantly to fit the conventional poetic rules of the time. A complete, and mostly unaltered, scholarly collection of her poetry first became available five full years after Aaron Copland's musical settings of her poetry.
