Singer's Musical Theory is multi-level series of workbooks designed to help singers learn music reading and theory. The books include over 100 pages of useful information including links to the Singer's Musical Theory website for instructional videos, and some pretty silly stuff. Materials included: Sight singing, both melodic and rhythmic, an explanation the origins of modern notation, worksheets covering clefs, rhythm, triads, key signatures, the circle of 5ths, solfege, musical terms, IPA and composer information. Answer sheets are included. This series is designed to be used as preparation for the Music Teachers' Association of California® Certificate of Merit® testing, and is useful for any singer seeking music literacy.
