Left hand consists of a few different patterns , rolled chords, and overlapping brackets. Right hand carries the melody line with some quick placing, downward arpeggios and rolled chords. There are several complex rhythmic sections in the piece, but no lever changes! Type of Harp: Big harp version is for 33 string harps or larger, but small harp version works for 26 string harps or larger. Range: For big harps: lowest note is E one and a half octaves below middle C, highest note is E just more than two octaves above middle C. For small harps: lowest note is D almost one octave below middle C, highest note is E just more than two octaves above middle C. Levers/Pedals: In the key of D major (F#s and C#s needed). This is a piece arranged for double strung harps. It's in the key of F, and requires B, C, G, and F levers, including mid song lever changes on the right hand side. The lowest note is F below middle C. This arrangement showcases the beauty of overlapping double strung sound.

A lever harp arrangement of Merry Go Round of Life by Joe Hisaishi from Howl?s Moving Castle. It can be tricky to play on the harp but it?s definitely very beautiful! For this arrangement, I tried to preserve as many harmonies as possible. In the video, the tempo played at is around 70bpm (slower than the original) to give enough time for the many lever changes. But the tempo can of course be adjusted according to skill level.

This version of Over the Rainbow is arranged on a 22 string double strung lap harp. It can also be played on larger double strung floor harps. The chord progression is mostly based on Saori Mouri's arrangement for single strung lap harp. It has a jazzy flavor to it, and is in the key of C with levers needed on F and B. The lever changes are marked on the top of each staff for the right and left side. There is one mid song F lever flip on the right that will be a bit challenging since you can't see the levers on the right. But with practice, it's still doable. Hope you enjoy the piece!
