Published by Trish Boril (A0.1465628). This is an easy harp arrangement of Wake Me Up When September Comes by Green Day. It features a simplified melody line for the right hand and broken chords in the left hand. Chord symbols also included for improvisation. Can be adapted for smaller harps - simply play in a different octave. There is ONE lever change on the C minor chord. You can flip the lever down on the E to get the E-flat if your harp is tuned in E-flat, then flip it back up in the next measure. If you prefer not to flip levers, simply leave out the E in that chord entirely. Harps with no levers? Just play a C and a G on that C minor chord, and leave out the E/E-flat.

Published by Beka Wilson (A0.1465283). I had a burr under my saddle to write a Celtic-sounding wedding song using the familiar fourth interval we hear at the beginning of Here Comes the Bride. Of course, playing with this in Dorian produced a lovely, rich melody and harmony, but further experimentation led me to a lighter-toned version of that same melody in Mixolydian. Thus, the idea of separating the song into Groom and Bride sections was born. Each section is ABA format, with the same A part in the respective modes, but their B part differs slightly. The third section (the Couple) utilizes the Groom's A part and the Bride's B part, symbolizing how a man and woman unite their lives as part of their wedding vows. Level: intermediate (12/8 time signature, no lever/pedal changes)Length: approximately 3 to 3.5 minutes, depending on tempo

It pairs well with the Coventry Carol, whose lyrics combine lullaby syllables with a reference to King Herod’s slaughter of the innocents. In addition to being lullabies, I hear these two melodies as laments. This pdf contains two versions: one for lever harp and one for pedal harp. Classic angel carol in a sparkling arrangement for solo Celtic lever or pedal harp.As a harpist, I have heard every angel joke there is (just try me in the comments!) But I can never get tired of the actual angels’ songs. A traditional tune sung by shepherd in the hills of of France, Angels We Have Heard On High brings the sound of angel song echoing through valleys in a retelling of the gospel of Luke. Arranging this carol for my second CD of Christmas carols, I arranged this version to bring the shine, the glory in the highest, the starry jubilation of angels appearing in the middle of the night. I featured oscillating broken chords and jumping fragments of the melody to make a perfect solo piece for Pedal or Celtic Lever harp, ideals for churches, holiday gatherings, senior facilities, intro-intermediate students practicing broken chords or anyone wanting to lift up a little glory!Celtic, Lever or Pedal HarpIntro-IntermediateKey of G with no lever or pedal changes.
