They drive her from the morning sun until it's very late,

Now many times I've passed her by and oft I've turned myface.

Yet many times I've wondered what if I were in her place.

And it seems to me that nowhere did she really have achoice.

This is an easy arrangement of the beautiful song from the movie/musical "Anastasia." It is in the key of A minor. For lever harpists, there is one sharp. For pedal harpists, there are only a few times the musician needs to change a pedal, and it is with the same pedal throughout the entire song. Brackets are in the form of lines above the numbers that indicate the fingering. Parenthesis around a note mean that it is optional, but is there to provide more harmonic information. The original arrangement of this piece has very rich harmonies. It was my goal to create a song that was approachable for harpists of every level!

Six-page medley consisting of three lovely tunes: Good King Wenceslas, Silent Night and and Away in a Manger. The left hand is fairly sparse utilizing mostly sustained single notes. Right hand has parallel thirds and sixths, and on a variation of Good King Wenceslas these are broken (with melody in the thumb.) There is a modulation to Silent Night with two clearly marked lever changes and another modulation to the key of F with three clearly marked lever changes over three measures (going into Away in a Manger). The left hand takes the melody for a portion of Away in a Manger. Great for the lower intermediate player or the advanced beginner, especially adults with prior musical experience. Chords are marked.
