The sentiment expressed by the title is especially perfect for weddings! It also makes a lovely harp solo for any elegant occasion.
It is meticulously notated with harp fingerings, pedal changes, muffles, and a page of performance notes explaining all the notations. If printed on paper, the one page turn (after the second page of music) is carefully planned to be doable. There are 4 pages of music, 1 page of performance notes (and some extra pages to make sure that the page turns turn out correctly).
The level is intermediate for pedal harpists.

It sounds very impressive to play and creates such a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere. In this piece you’ll get practice with lots of 4-finger arpeggios between the two hands, jumping between registers, series of octaves and 10th intervals, many lever changes and some glissandos. If you learn along with the Video Course, Carrie will show you how to go beyond just playing the notes on the page by sharing tips on how to bring out the melody line so it sounds musical and doesn’t get lost among the many notes. She’ll also show you exactly how to practice those lever changes so that they feel controlled and predictable rather than rushed and frantic! This piece is challenging but so rewarding to play.Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Late-Intermediate. The right hand often plays the melody line and sometimes serves as a continuation of the left-hand accompaniment. The right hand also handles the quick placement of rolled chords under the melody and series of octaves. The last rose of summer was written by Thomas Moore to an existing Irish melody. O my love is like a red, red rose was written by Robert Burns to an existing Scottish melody. These two poets used existing melodies to add their own poetry and turn it into a song. Both songs are well known in the Celtic traditions and also fit well together. I used to play them in the key of C years ago, but on revisiting my old arrangements I preferred the key of F. There are no lever changes but there are plenty of full rolled chords. So an intermediate level of playing is required.I have added dynamics but they can be changed if you like. Both songs should not be played too fast. Metronome speeds are an indication only. Play with feeling!

This is another beloved tune written by the well loved blind harper Turlough O'Carolan. I have arranged it for lever harp. l I have added all fingering and dynamics. The difficulty is around grade 2 to 4 level. It needs a lever change while playing and the lever needs to be changed back quickly. It also shows some sliding, so 1-1 fingering. But fingering is always optional so if you or your teacher don't like it, change it. The key is G-major so you need to have an F sharp lever, and a C sharp lever for the lever change. You can use it for piano as well.(with different fingering).

This is my slightly more complex arrangement of Leaves from the Vine from the beloved animated series Avatar: the Last Airbender, as well as the more recent Netflix live-action adaptation by the same name. It is appropriate for intermediate harpists working with an instrument as small as 26 strings, ranging from the C below middle C to the third G above Middle C (though it can obviously also be played on a larger harp, as well). It is written in the key of B-flat Major with no accidentals or lever changes. As such, it could work on an instrument model without levers, so long as the instrument is tuned with Bs and Es flat. My own instrument is a Harpsicle Fullsicle Harp. But I believe it could also work, with one or two very minor modifications, on a Harp-E, some of the Roosebeck Pakistani harp models (though check your range to be sure), Dusty Strings Ravenna 26, or Musicmakers Sonnet 29.The intro, outro, and transitions of the song weave in a medley of other themes from Avatar: The Last Airbender, including excerpts from The Avatar's Love, Four Seasons, and the main title theme. The core of the arrangement, however, centers around on variations of Leaves from the Vine.I also have a simplified, beginner-appropriate arrangement of this piece published seperately. Recently I heard this beautiful traditional song from Ukraine. I knew it would sound lovely on the harp. The song is a sad love song in which a nightingale also features. I thought the a-minor key suited it really well. One will need to set one lever (G ♯) and there will be no lever changes while paying. Fingerings are optional as usual. One needs to have a steady left hand so this is not for total beginners. This piece will also work on the piano but will need different fingering.Now we can only hope for peace in Ukraine.

One in F for the pedal or chromatic Harp, one in Eb for a diatonic harp and one in F for a little 3 octave gothic harp. Some interpretation symbols where used in the score as a performance suggestion. Most of the score is left to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of fingering. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889432). I found this Passacaglia from Bach among some of my own handwritten manuscripts. It is a phenomenal piece. Bach was definitive a great artist, a Genius. Passacaglia is an Italian word. This music form was originated in early 17th-century Spain as a strummed interlude between instrumentally accompanied dances or songs. In this piece we can clearly experience this „Spanish strumming between „Bars 137 and 145. The passacaglia was redefined in the late 1620s by Italian composer Girolamo Frescobaldi, who transformed it into a series of continuous variations over an ostinato bass pattern (which itself may be varied). I added to this piece some interpretation symbols and rearranged it for the harp but every single note was left as it would be found in the original version. The piece is appropriate for advanced performers. Most of the score is left to the interpretation of the artists involved, particularly the use of fingering. The piece is difficult but very Human. It requires focused endurance and some practice on certain passages. Once learned you will also be playing much better. Feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills and taste. Have fun! It is a piece that can be used in many different kinds of situations, from a serious concert hall to a marriage, it is perfect for Christmas celebrations and all other kinds of Spiritual events. Luis Anjos Teixeira „Now comes the Little Story The Volcano`s Lake was composed on a volcano called Pico that stands out about 2000 meters above see level right in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. From the bottom of the ocean to its pick it is higher than mount Everest. I like to know that there are an enormous amount of different species of whales that live in this area and many others that go there strictly for romance. I went there to perform with the harp but was at the same time deeply morning the death of my Dear Cat Mary Jane that tragically passed away the day before the flight. In this isle I was having at night strange dreams of epic battles and fights between flying Angels and Demons. In one of these dreams „Time and Matter were a byproduct of „Music itself. The wind was blowing, the volcano was dancing and the water on the lake was whispering enchanting melodies. As soon as I woke up I wrote some notes before they vanished away, just a fragment of an idea of what I was listening in the dream. I named it „The Volcano`s Lake, because the „Lake was comforting me with its melodies, I realized that my tears were also becoming the lake itself and in this lake I was becoming one with Mary Jane and all the rest of the Universe.
