In the original key of D major. This arrangement is for easy harp. While the rhythm looks complicated, just play the melody how you would sing it. The left hand is very simple and sparse to allow for the melody to sing out over the top.

This quiet and meditative piece came to me on the night of Thanksgiving. I was just sitting there with my family, strumming away on my lap harp and enjoying a quiet evening by the fire while the snow gently falls outside. There are 3 versions included: one for single strung, two for double strung (keys C and G for both floor and lap DS harps). No lever changes required. The Skye Boat Song was arranged for harp and can be played on small (22-string) harps.

The Skye Boat Song consists of a beautiful Scottish melody and was popularised by the \'Outlander\' series.
