This is an arrangement of Mad World for zither or lap harp. Just slip the sheet music under the strings and follow the notes which are connected by lines, easily showing you which strings to pluck.

This sheet music works on T.K. O'Brien Lap Harps, Music Makers, or Melody Harps. To use with a First Act instrument, you might need to trim farther inside the guidelines, and you may possibly lose a note at the beginning or end. Typical zither tuning, from bottom to top, is G A B C D E F# G A B C D E F# G..... which is the tuning I used for this particular arrangement.

Print onto letter-sized paper. Select "Print Actual Size", and NOT "Scale to Fit". Landscape Orientation

When you're sure you have it printing correctly, you may want to print onto card stock for added durability.

A collection of ten Christmas carols from five nationalities: Austria, Czechoslovakia, England, Ireland and Poland, playable on pedal or lever harp with accidentals clearly marked for levers and/or pedals. Modulations and interludes are included for smooth transitions between pieces. A set of lead sheets is included at the end of the collection which are marked with rehearsal letter indications, repeat signs for multiple verses, interludes and modulations.

This excellent book by Beth Kolle will add some interesting "northern land" tunes to your repertoire! This 117-page book contains music from Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, Norway, Cape Breton, France, Manx, and Finland, 25 tunes in all. Each piece has an introductory page of background information. The following tunes have flute parts in addition to the harp part: Carrickfurgus, Innisheer, Brae Lochiel, Schottis 1, and The Shepherd's Daughter. The following tunes have a Harp 2 duo part: Innisheer, Reinlendar 1, and Mazurka Michel. Chords are included and measure numbers are marked at the beginning of each system.
