The French Romantic composer Charles Gounod added a beautiful melody to the Prelude in C by Baroque master Johann Sebastian Bach, to create this beloved and inspiring Ave Maria.

This pedal harp solo arranged by Stephanie Bennett (ASCAP) has been meticulously notated with fingerings, as well as tempo and dynamics markings.

Great for any classical-music setting, & for any Christian occasion (weddings, funerals, christenings, Christmas, etc.)

The celebrated CANON IN D by Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) is one of the most beloved pieces in the Baroque repertoire. Its serene dignity and grandeur make it a perfect complement to occasions as diverse as weddings and funerals. This piece by Maroon 5 is based on the Pachelbel Canon's chord progression. It is arranged in the key of C and can be played on lever and pedal harps. (The video showcases the piece using a double strung lap harp played in Eb key).

This is an original composition for the double strung harp. The imaginary is that of a mother saying goodbye to her son by the river. The story takes place in the ancient days when people travel by boats to faraway lands and it would probably be years before seeing loved ones again. The mother silently watches the flowing river take away her son until he is no longer in sight . . .

The song is in aeolian mode in the key of G. The range is low A (1.5 octave below middle C) to E (2 octaves above middle C). It requires one mid song D# lever change on the right.
