He is a free lance professional violist and violinist specializing in chamber music, who began making string quartet and trio arrangements for wedding, party and corporate events, to expand the repertory or to improve on existing versions. Selections include unusual pieces by both familiar and lesser-known composers, plus standard classical and popular favorites. The goal is to produce high-quality, musically satisfying arrangements faithful to the composer’s original material, yet sight-readable in most cases by working professionals or intermediate to advanced students. The full range of normal string technique is employed, while avoiding unnecessary technical complexity. Melodic material is distributed throughout the four voices where appropriate, to maintain listener and performer interest. All parts and scores are set in Sibelius© software format, with careful attention to legibility and page turns.

You have an intro with chim-chim-cheree, followed by feed the birds, but they don't fully develop. After that, A Spoon of Sugar, with the birds part made by the first violin and the second and viola enkoying. The next part is, now complete, Chim-Chim-Cheree, with the melody starting in the cello, and then passing by the rest of instruments from lower to higher. When the second plays the melody, the first plays a counter-theme a little bit tricky. And, in the end, now complete, Feed the Birds, with constant dialogs between the violins. Tested and approved arrangement. All Nonamé arrangements are prepared to avoid page turns if you print the covers properly. Humble Vale is part of the Hancock Hymnal: 1850 compiled by Deborah Rentz Moore.The most obvious element in this beautiful melody is the predominance of the pentatonic mode. The Funk Scherzo movement is a dissertation on pentatonic subsets: major seconds, minor thirds and perfect fourths. The Bossa nova movement, although not pentatonic melodically, is full of chords derived pentatonically: chords stacked in fourths, for example. The last movement, Perpetuo moto, is most definitely pentatonic in its theme: an incessant repeating figure with explosive pentatonic flurries of major seconds, minor thirds and perfect fourths.In between the four movements I have inserted three interludes. Interlude I is an interlocking pair of waltzing pentatonic melodies for two violins. Interlude II is a solemn march on an Fâ€sharp pedal. Interlude III is a quasiâ€canonic descending scale that resolves into a big Gâ€flat major chord. It is my intention that these interludes provide a smooth and slithery connection from one movement into the next. Enjoy!!!The work is dedicated to Miles Davis. This work was written in 1999 for an international competition for quartets reflecting in music the visions in three of Edvard Munch's paintings. It is dedicated to the composer's wife, Rayna. 1. The Scream - Moderato - There are 51 versions of The Scream and the movement is in 51 sections grouped roughly into sonata form. The development is largely textural, and the movement hinges about a chord formed of open fifths a major third apart which will also re-appear in the other movements to give the quartet its sense of unity. The screaming is both audible and silent, and the footsteps on the bridge are portrayed both in a sense of passing by and also of running away. 2. Melancholy - Andante - Munch gave other titles to this painting, namely Jappe by the Shore and Jealousy . As jealousy and melancholy are retrospective emotions, tonal and modal music is employed, using the Norwegian folk song Millom bakkar og berg ut met havet set in a minor key for the first section. The A-B-A form then partially loses tonality for Jealousy, while returning to it for Melancholy itself. 3. The Dance of Life - Allegro - This movement is in rondo form, with hints of Norwegian country dances for the dancers in the painting. The two women are portrayed as one looking nostalgically to the light-heartedness of the old waltz and the other brooding on the darkness and latent sexuality of the new tango, the melodies for both of which are also corruptions of the country dances. The Munch chord alters the perspective on the scene as the movement progresses and eventually dissolves at the end as though the onlooker is passing on to another, equally unresolved future.
