2018Holiday Contest Entry

This pack contains six traditional songs which are often played at Jewish wedding ceremonies. These arrangements are simple enough to be sight-read by advanced musicians, or to be rehearsed and performed by intermediate musicians. It includes:

This pack represents a substantial saving over the retail price of the individual songs.

This lively and moving suite of tradition Hanukkah melodies will charm and delight audiences of all faiths. Masterfully arranged, each movement will challenge the ensemble and present stylistic variations ranging from Klezmer to Bach and Palestrina inspired counterpoint. The four movements are as follows: I. Yemei Ha'Chanukah (Hanukkah Oh Hanukkah), II. Moaz Tzur (Rock of Ages), III. Ner Li (I Have a Candle), and IV. S'vivon Sov Sov Sov (Dreidel, Spin Spin Spin) / Dreidel Song. This work is certain to be a highlight of any Winter Holiday concert.

String quartet arrangements of traditional Jewishholiday songs for Rosh Hashana, Hanukkah, Purim and Shavuot. I live in Israel, and my quartet plays every holiday at a schoolfor handicapped children. I wrote these arrangements for them.
