There are lot trio formation versions, but I did not find any quartet version. Originally composed for organ by J.S.Bach I have composed the viola part and I have arranged the left and right hand parts to make it easier to play on violins and woodwind instruments.The pedalier part (violonchelo) has been changed to lowered to give space for viola part.The viola part has been composed in Bach style contributing rhythm and armonic wealth to the whole piece.I have really enjoyed this project because when the ingredients are very good, the end result will be very good. How big is Bach !!! ....Enjoy it!!.

Sonata No. 6, “Durnitz†for String Quartet Mozart's Sonata in D major, K. 284, also known as the Durnitz Sonata, is a solo piano piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1775. It is one of Mozart's more complex and ambitious sonatas and is generally regarded as one of his greatest works for the instrument.The sonata is divided into three movements:1.   Allegro - The first movement is a fast-paced and energetic sonata-allegro form characterized by its lively theme and virtuosic passages. The movement begins with a bold and dramatic opening statement, followed by contrasting themes and variations. The development section explores new harmonic and rhythmic territory, while the recapitulation brings the movement full circle with a restatement of the main themes.2.   Rondeau en Polonaise - The second movement is a graceful and elegant rondo in the style of a polonaise, a popular dance of the time. The central theme is a lilting melody first presented by the right hand and then repeated with variations throughout the movement. The middle section features a contrasting theme in a minor key, which is then developed and expanded upon in the latter half of the movement.3.   Theme and Variations - The final movement is a set of six variations on a theme, which is introduced at the beginning of the movement. Each variation explores a different aspect of the theme, from playful embellishments to dramatic flourishes. The final variation brings the piece to a rousing and triumphant close.Overall, Mozart's Sonata in D major, K. 284, is a masterful example of the composer's virtuosity and innovation and remains a beloved and influential work in the piano repertoire. Mozart's Sonata in D major, K. 284 is also known as the Dürnitz Sonata because it is believed to have been composed for Count Johann Joseph Anton von Dürnitz, an accomplished amateur flutist who was a patron of Mozart. Mozart was in Munich in 1775, and he met Dürnitz there. According to Mozart's letters to his father, Dürnitz played the flute very well, and Mozart was impressed by his abilities. It is believed that Mozart composed this sonata specifically for Dürnitz, who may have performed it with Mozart accompanying him on the piano. No concrete evidence supports the theory that the sonata was named after Dürnitz, but it is widely accepted as the most likely explanation for the nickname. In any case, the sonata remains one of Mozart's most popular and beloved works.

Rather than follow new music trends in classical music, the composer's aim was to create something influenced by the music he likes - Beethoven, Vivaldi, European folk music, and heavy metal. Instead of (to some, unpleasant-sounding) extended techniques, dissonant harmonies, and lack of clear rhythms and melodies, Schwarz has modernized his classical music with driving rhythms and harmony guitar influences of heavy metal, while still attempting to feature elements of true classical music such as counterpoint, development, chamber music dialogue, and forms such as sonata-allegro, scherzo, and rondo. Something you can enjoy at first listen but still get more out of with repeated attention.

Published by Robert A. Howard (A0.1402959). This Second String Quartet is in four movements, and runs to over 30 minutes long. The work uses the traditionally expected forms for each movement, as a framework or starting point for departure, but also uses a conceptual title for the work as a whole. In this case 'Locomotion', or the conveying of motion (especially with regards to train travel), was used as a compositional stimulus in creating extended pattern-based textures, as well as the development, or journey, of motifs and themes. Otherwise, there is no particular attempt to evoke the sound of particular modes of transportation, or certain landscapes or scenes. Such imagery is left at the discretion of the listener. Formally, the work begins with a loose sonata form first movement, based around E (modal minor). The second movement, on A, bears the hallmarks of a busy scherzo, while the sentimental slow movement in D minor that follows is based on ground basses, in a ternary form of two varied themes. The extended finale grows out of the previous movement, with a jig-like rondo theme on another ground bass. Contrasting episodes feature modulating material, as well as a secondary theme in C. The final section sees a cyclic return of the first movement's first theme, now at the finale's faster tempo, and in the closing key of G minor. I have shamelessly combined ideas from three famous pieces poular for funerals: Pachelbel's Canon, Elgar's Nimrod from the Enigma Variations and Chopin's Marche Funebre from his 2nd Pianoforte Sonata. So it is a passacaglia, having a solemn repeating 4 bars in the bass; 8 variations on a 4 bar phrase; and an accompanied canon having each variation repeated twice, in the second violin and viola after delays, while a new variation appears in the 1st Violin. All in D minor, but a tierce de Picardie ends the piece. Only 3 minutes: after all that work!
