Peer Gynt, Op. 23, is the incidental music to Henrik Ibsen's 1867 play of the same name, written by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg in 1875. Grieg later created two suites from his Peer Gynt music.
Solveig's Song is the last movement of suite No. 2, a marvelous melody full of nostalgic feelings.

This arrangement for advanced players aims to present Edvard Grieg's well-known piano miniature as faithfully as possible for a clarinet quartet. The only simplification I've made is to transpose it up half a step from the original D major. It's a musically satisfying teaching piece that will also delight audiences in a "solos and ensembles" concert, or as music for a wedding. The prominent Alto Clarinet part can alternatively be played on Basset Horn.

This works well as a concert piece or just for fun! The clarinet four part is the same as the bass clarinet part, if you need one.I have added an optional piano part.Download includes the score and all of the parts.
