Linus and Lucy is a popular jazz piano composition writtenby VinceGuaraldi, used in many of the Peanutsanimatedtelevision specials. Named for the cartoon characters,siblings Linus and Lucy van Pelt,it was on the Vince Guaraldi Trio?s 1964 album Jazz Impressions of a BoyNamed Charlie Brown. In 1965, thesong Linus and Lucy was featured onthe television special, A Charlie Brown Christmas. Since 1965, the piece has introduced most ofthe Peanuts TV cartoons, just a few exceptions. It is one of the mostrecognizable pieces by composer Vince Guaraldi, and has become the de factotheme song of the Peanuts franchise.

This arrangement for Flexible Clarinet Choir or Clarinet Quartetcan be performed with as few as 4 players up to a full clarinet choir withmultiple players on a part. It is alsopossible to perform it as a quartet by leaving out the Flute 3 part, whichfills out the harmony. It is scored for EbClarinet (Part 1), 4 Bb Clarinets (Parts 1-4), EbAlto Clarinet (Part 4), Bb Bass Clarinet (Part 4).

Clarinet Quartet: 2 B-flat Clarinets, Alto Clarinet or Basset Horn, Bass Clarinet.

This arrangement for advanced players aims to present Edvard Grieg's well-known piano miniature as faithfully as possible for a clarinet quartet. The only simplification I've made is to transpose it up half a step from the original D major. It's a musically satisfying teaching piece that will also delight audiences in a "solos and ensembles" concert, or as music for a wedding. The prominent Alto Clarinet part can alternatively be played on Basset Horn.

This quartet has a klezmer feel. It is inspired by the Mel Lazarus comic strip and has a section for each child (Thomas, Marylou, and Francis). The main theme is from the Hebrew melody Prokofiev used in his Overture. The bass clarinet part is intended for an extended bass clarinet but can be done on the shorter one. All voices get interesting parts and audiences have loved it.

This well-crafted arrangement for clarinet quartet is suitable for church or the concert hall. Stanzas 2 and 3 provide fresh harmonies after a straightforward statement of this sturdy tune. Works well as a call to worship, offertory, or postlude. The instrumentation is flexible enough to accommodate many different combinations.

La Escala Musical o Diatónica se define como una secuencia ordenada de notas naturales y sonidos musicales. The clarinet four part is the same as the bass clarinet part, if you need one.

This arrangement includes a 3rd Bb clarinet part as an alternate for the Eb clarinet, but it is lowered an octave frequently reducing there brilliance of the high technical Eb clarinet voice. A obligato triangle part is included in the Eb clarinet part, which can be omitted, but it is so cute when retained.
