The Champagne Galop (Danish: Champagne-Galoppen; German: Champagner Galopp) is a piece of orchestral music by the Danish composer Hans Christian Lumbye (1810?1874) which was written to celebrate the second anniversary of Copenhagen's Tivoli in 1845. Together with Lumbye's Telegraph Galop and Copenhagen Steam Railway Galop, it was included in the 2006 Danish Culture Canon as a masterpiece of Danish classical music. Ridolfo Luigi Boccherini (19 February 1743 ? 28 May 1805) was an Italian, later Spanish, composer and cellist of the Classical Era whose music retained a courtly and galante style even while he matured somewhat apart from the major European musical centres. He is best known for a minuet from his String Quartet in E, Op. 11, No. 5 (G 275).
