The Carmen Suites are two suites of orchestral music drawn from the music of Georges Bizet's 1875 opera Carmen and compiled posthumously by his friend Ernest Guiraud. They adhere very closely to Bizet's orchestration.

This arrangement includes: Danse Bohème ? Act 2, Gypsy Dance: "Les tringles des sistres tintaient".

The instrumentation of the clarinet quartet is: Bb Clarinet 1 or Eb Clarinet, Bb Clarinet 2, Bb Clarinet 3 or Eb Alto Clarinet, Bb Bass Clarinet.

The Gypsy Baron (Der Zigeunerbaron) is an operetta in three acts by Johann Strauss II which premiered at the Theater an der Wien on 24 October 1885. During the composer's lifetime, the operetta enjoyed great success, second only to the popularity of Die Fledermaus. In this arrangement for clarinet quartet (Bb Clarinet 1 or Eb Clarinet, Bb Clarinet 2, Bb Clarinet 3 or Eb Alto Clarinet, Bb Bass Clarinet) we have the famous and brilliant entry march (Einzugsmarsch) of act III.

The marvelous Verdi's composition (aka "Gypsy Chorus" or "Coro degli Zingari") transcribed for clarinet quartet (1st Bb Clarinet or Eb Clarinet, 2nd Bb Clarinet, 3rd Bb Clarinet or Eb Alto Clarinet, Bb Bass Clarinet).
