I found this very nice piece in an old creole jazz book and wonder why it is nearly forgotten. Big fun for starters to introduce your ensemble in the world of swing.
It�s an easy arrangement for intermediate/high skilled players. But there is no limit for even the most advanced to show their skills in the solo part. This theme lives from precise ensemble phrazing. You will enjoy the jazzy voicings.

I first heard this wonderful Fantasia in an arrangement by the classical-rock group Sky and later learnt it (almost) in it?s original form on harpsichord.
